Also, Backbreaker is the first game these people have ever created, and there still has been no footage of 11 on 11 gameplay in action. It is going to be hard for them to make a better game on their first try when Madden has had years of work, even if it is still a flawed game. I'm not saying that Madden is a better game, just that as long as Madden is the only one with the license no other game will sell anywhere near as many games regardless if the core gameplay is better.

APF also has some quirks and I can see why some people might not like it but to this day I have not played a better representation of football. Backbreaker will not compete with Madden without NFL licensing. The best to hope for is that it is good enough that it catches Madden's attention.
