NBA 2K10 Gameplay Footage

whats with all the fanboy this fanboy that crap, how old are you guys? its perfectly fine to say what you like and dislike about a game, just because someone else doesnt like it doesnt mean dont go out and buy it. Im loving 2k this year and most definately not gonna let someone talk me out of buying it, if anything it makes my decision easier. Im lovin madden this year and looking forward to nba 2k, so whats that make me a ea2k fanboy, get the f__ outta here with that stuff. Buy what YOU like. @Pasta, big fan of ya site keep at it bro.

I really cant tell a lot from the video. Looks pretty but other than graphical improvements it functions like 2K9 and I wasn't a fan of 2K9. I won't be able to tell until I play the game. Live 10 is bananas! I love the "sim" feel to the game . It is extremely realistic but it is really lacking in some areas. I may get both but 2K will have to show me something for that to happen. I hate the lack of control in 2K games. So far, the better game for me is Live.

this looks great guys! the commentary and the intros are great, i think a lot of you are calling it 2k9.5 because you're forgetting that 2k added 2 major additions to 2k10
1-Be a Star Mode
2-D-League

but nonetheless live is also solid, but those two additions are gonna help 2k bust live again

WEll, I liked the intros, but the game itself i need to play…..they said you can't go around pushing turbo all the time, yet it seemed pretty fast to me, but shaq didnt get the chance to get tired there yet. Shaq should not outrun gasol in any way ever….I see that you can still dunk on 2 guys from standstill (see shaq) liked the tip dunk, though.

Still same as 2k9 and i have thatone already so not sure i will buy. Gonna buy live 10 first to see whats up if thats no good i will sell it and get 2k10.

2K it is for me! cant get down with live LOL that demo was trash. Lebron james is as light skinned as Tyson Chandler LOL lighting or w.e u call it chris paul and lebron lookin NOTHIN like themselves. 2K is back like it nevr left

I cannot believe I'm saying this but Live looks like it has a legit shot to be the game this yr. I'm a big 2k guy but Live has made tremendous strides. I don't understand why Live got rid of the dunk button though. You got D.Howard getting offensive bounds right underneath the rim and then resulting in him shooting a turnaround jump hook. D Howard dunks everything within range. Of course 2K is the champ and I will have to see what the demo has in stores. Trying not to judge everything on one game play vid but it does look the same. And for those who say that 2k9 didn't need much improvement is crazy. By far the best basketball title last season but there were holes all over that game.

Hmm how could it look radically different from 2k9 ?
I mean Live 09 was ridden with flaws that that they pretty much can only do better with Live 10. With 2k the margin for improvement is way thiner. It will really take a demo to figure out what it's worth.
The only thing I am disappointed about is that they brought back Clark Kellogg who's just awful…

ok I've been silent long enough 2k has great presentation and great sim movement I can't lie but live got better charisma and it own unique style of sports that why i love live and ea game but to make a long story short live is strategy 2k is not

Yall dumb if you do your research you can see the major improvements that were done to 2k10 and how much work they did. They got the whole D-league, over 1,000 facial animations just for players, about 500 crowd animations, and the reaction time was improved to as it was an actual game. Take the put back dunk the crowd reacted immediately along with the commentary. 2k9 didn't have that, it's not a polished game because if you look at 2k9 to 2k10 screens they re-did the player modules and made the size of the players more realistic to the ratio of the body to the court. New dunk animations, signature entrances, new commentary updates so through the real NBA season the commentary in the game is updated to make it feel like a true authentic basketball experience. As you can see I'm a big 2k fan and when I see stupid people write stuff that makes no sense I gotta comment. Get your fax, dump live they tried but they weren't ready 2k sports gonna buy the NBA franchise.

While people tend to believe this is the year we get two great basketball games, it's starting to look like this is the year we get two disappointing basketball games.

First, lets talk about live. At first I was wow'd by the live demo, but the more I try and get into it the more I find the game almost unplayable. The Live engine just needs to be scrapped altogether and I think even EA knows this, but of course that can't admit it to you guys.

Far as 2k, I am sorry but this game does look to much like 2k9. The player models look exact. Varjaeo looks exactly like he did in 2k9, and so does other players. Lebron looks worst. He almost looks like Evander Holyfield. Yet, he's one of the premiere players in the game so you'll think LBJ is one player that do a good job on. But it's kind of hard to judge 2k10 because the combine didn't give me that 2k9 feeling, but yet 2k10 don't even look like the combine so I'm going to still keep hope that 2k10 is an upgrade off the combine.

Finally, I think everyone needs to chill the f**k out. You really can't tell from a 3 minute video. U guys act like you are some experts and try to analyze a 3 minute gameplay video way to much. Some kid posting how he can tell the dribbling controls didn't change and he can tell that by that video. I'm sorry but no YOU CAN NOT. YOU HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME!!! People stop trying to make judgment calls based off of 3 minute clips. U don't know what the game settings are and it's to many variables that are unknown. The combine looked and played better than video clips and live certainly looked better from their pre-vid clips.

look here both live and 2k looks sweet, both got things they lacking on. i just get what i like in a basketball game, but whatsup with wade and melo looks nothing like them on 2k, thats f up i might not never play with the heat or the nuggets, im better off making my on wade

I think the lighting looks better than it did in 2K9. Also, the commentary on Shaq's put back dunk was excellent. Sounded unscripted and off the cuff….

People saying that 2K looks better than Live seriously need to put away there nintendos. 2K looks choppy and cartoony. At least Live makes the effort to give some realistic gameplay. There'll always be haters but to me this is a no-brainer…..Live wins again this year.
