Madden 10 AFL DLC Now Available

The AFL downloadable content for Madden 10 is now available on the Xbox 360 and PS3. As posted on previously the DLC includes AFL Legacy jerseys, five new achievements/trophies, and five new Madden Moments in addition to the optional special retro-style presentation of the Legacy games. The DLC pack goes for 560 MS points or the equivalent $7 on the PS3 side.

In order to activate the AFL mode pull the right trigger on the team select screen. Without the AFL mode on you can still use the jerseys but it will be the standard presentation. If you’ve purchased the DLC make sure to leave your comments on what you think of it! Continue on to check out some screenshots and a video of the presentation in action.

its not a downgrade i graphics…its a screen filter that mimics that television coverage at the time…its actually pretty sweet…thought there would be more specific audio-presentation though…perhaps descriptions of the rivalry or something…thought the pack was overpriced…but its still pretty cool…definitely won't use it all the time…

Yes. You can use it, however if your opponent hasn't gotten the DLC themselves they'll see you in your standard uniforms.

I would have to say the AFL pack is cool but there isn’t enough for something you have to pay for, they should have brought Madden comentary back with this pack then everybody would have felt like they got there moneys worth.

Got it this morn and just played a few Madden Moments and part of a game as the Broncos.
Its cool, what I expected, though the vignetted intro sequence kinda made me sick.
I didn't mind the few extra bucks for more Madden Moments, the additional 'presentation' and the jersey pack, though I probably would have been fine with the AFL jerseys just being included in the game for free without the extra stuff.

Looking forward to the roster update as well.

I know they're releasing a 2ND patch but buy the time they release it (which will probably be late November or December) I will have already lost interest in Madden.
