For you guys out there that are saying what warrants 60 hard earned dollars, think about it this way. What is more important to you? Gameplay that you know 2k will bring, or improvements to a game lacking gameplay in Live. Yes live looks nicer, but the realism just isnt there quite yet. Most people are basing their judgments off of a demo are you crazy? That was bare bones and 2k will always have a much deeper game. The dynasty mode is always better for 2k, the gameplay it much better, IGN gave 2k a better rating than live and they had 5 guys review the game and give their choice of which two they recommend that fans of the NBA should buy. I guess the only way I would suggest people buy live is if they like arcade games made for kids under 10 years old. Also dont give me this crap about live having better dribble moves, and a better feel. 2K beats live in every way when it comes to gameplay and control over your player. What would you rather have? One button to control how your guy shoots so you have no control over the situation or would you rather have total control how a player shoots. I would rather be in control of how my player dribbles, shoots, plays defense, and runs the court. In live everything is a preset animation, you have no control and for players that like realism thats bad news. But go ahead waste your 60 dollars on a game that may have improved, Id rather spend my money on something I know Im going to like even if you think its just a facelift(which is not true). My money goes with 2K this year and every year.

The pick and roll is unstoppable and help defense is horrible. Dwight Howard dunks on two to three people at a time, the game is not imporved, the players (especially guards) are slower this year, the dribble moves are almost non existent compared to last year I think. The only thing I like about this game is that Kobe can not be stopped, which is realistic.

What framerate issues? I've been playing My Player for over a week now in 2K camera and not a single frame rate issue. Take Padre's comments with a grain of salt. They are always tilted towards favor for EA and against 2K.
