NBA 2K10 Videos Set #2

After getting up the full game Spurs @ Jazz matchup I wanted to offer a little more variety in the videos. Because they are recorded in HD it can take almost an entire day to capture, convert, upload, and process a full game’s worth of vids. It becomes easier to do a quarter here and there rather than a a handful to do all at once.

So here you can find a quarter of Wizards @ Knicks and Mavericks @ Warriors and the first half of Nets @ Bulls. The Nets @ Bulls matchup has the difficulty bumped up to All Star. Curiously I found the game played on All Star to be easier than the ones I’ve played on Pro.

Next up will be my initial impressions of the game up which will be posted this evening. Continue on to check out the videos and leave your thoughts in the comments!

nice animations as usual but the pick n roll is waaay to affective and im still not liking there is not much help d even though in a blog they said they improved the help d and it was much better but from all the vids i have seen there is none just like last year.

One more thing i noticed is how 2k put out all the pics where the graphics are amazing but when we look at these videos the player faces look nothing like the pictures.

I am hoping they can patch them in. To my knowledge, they should already have them since they were in a pre-release demo before the game was shipped. Pasta had vids up in which the uniforms were used during a community day event, I believe.

I think Pasta said they were removed because there wasn't any official news whether or not the uniforms would be used OR they couldn't be released prior to the team using them in a game….Some weird red tape stuff….

Lots of people think they are ugly but they looked sweet with the darker blue pants.

damn, well I think I'm leaning more toward 2K this year after being an avid Live fan for years. I think Live is sick too but 2K looks a little funner. Im a little concerned that it looks like 2K doesnt have the dribble controls that Live has and thats keeping me hesitant. Pasta can you comment on how the controls felt please. This is a huge decision, I'm 55/45 now in favor of 2K. Anxiously awaiting Pasta's initial impressions. I dont have the ability to go and rent a game because I'm in a small town, I can only drive 25min to Walmart and drop the $$ so I rely on the reviews heavily. Thanks Pasta……….

Definitely stepped it up as far as gameplay goes. I was highly disappointed in the Spurs and Jazz video which didn't do a decent job highlighting the new things in NBA 2k10. But these new videos definitely give great insight on how much 2k has stepped it up and made gameplay more realistic. But 2k is still not the clear cut winner over Live but its a close race. Live has always had great graphics over 2k but 2k has had the gameplay but with the new additions to Live it looks to be a contender this year. But so far good job pasta padre. You guys kinda had some making up to do for the poor game of the Spurs and the Jazz but you guys really redeemed yourselves wit the new videos. I'll be looking for more videos to come

Pasta you dont know how to use Isomtion do you, as I havent seen youndo anything other than what a casual baller would do? I just read on OS that in Live 10, theyre might not be a 'Be A Pro' mode. Also confirmed by iminurbase that dynasty mode doesnt have ingame injuries(only when simmed), and you dont have the option of choosing 28,56 games for dynasty season. Its only 82. Im going to rent Live this year, outside of Dynamic Season, Live Run doesnt sound that appealing.. a game of 21 with superstar players?
I dont see why Live removes features like Be A Pro?
