NBA 2K10 Videos Set #2

After getting up the full game Spurs @ Jazz matchup I wanted to offer a little more variety in the videos. Because they are recorded in HD it can take almost an entire day to capture, convert, upload, and process a full game’s worth of vids. It becomes easier to do a quarter here and there rather than a a handful to do all at once.

So here you can find a quarter of Wizards @ Knicks and Mavericks @ Warriors and the first half of Nets @ Bulls. The Nets @ Bulls matchup has the difficulty bumped up to All Star. Curiously I found the game played on All Star to be easier than the ones I’ve played on Pro.

Next up will be my initial impressions of the game up which will be posted this evening. Continue on to check out the videos and leave your thoughts in the comments!

Ya’ll kill me with the nitpicking. If someone doesnt look EXACTLY like the player is that gonna make you just not play the game no matter how good it is. Im pretty sure we were all playing SNES and PS1 NBA games for hours on end and they had few player models with just different hair. I think it looks straight. There is never gonna be a perfect game. If there was there wouldnt be a need for the next years version. WTH would you fix then?

I look for the negative comments like 2k9.5(wich i've seen a lot from live fans) to help me make up my mind. After reading through most of the comments I will definately be getting 2k10 this year, I've learned to go with the game that scares the competition and it always works, ALWAYS! but enough chatting for now its time to go preorder my copy, thanks guys.

what I don't understand about some of these guys is if you've already made up your mind on live then why even bother watching a 2k video, is it because you think that your comments will hurt someones feelings and maybe sway them into buying live or is it that most of you will more than likely(despite your comments) be buying live and picking up a copy of 2k just in case it outsells live for like the 7th straight year, hmm. I personally think we are going to have two great bball games this year, and I look forward to playing both. Its not like im buying either one anyway, I use gamefly as my security, always have always will.

Gameplay is superior. The only things I don't like about this game from afar is too many overhead passes and the ratings. The gameplay looks better than the competition.

now 2k looks nice but the controls are still the same they are just bad it like herky jerky and non floait and smooth and they slide on the floor man and there is no defense man and the run and walk like they got a broom suck up there ass man just give me Live anyday people and they still have those stupid slow plays to call man come on the game sound good accept clark kellog he sound horrible and the game looks like a real game but game play is my thing and they dont have it peace

this game looks okay….looks and sounds a lot like 2k9 which i enjoyed. I really don;t like small dumb mistakes like Rose taking his first shot acocording to the commentary while he has 6 points already.

THEIR BIGGEST FUCK UP IN THIS SERIES IS……………….the fucking passing! why is noone doing a normal chest pass? and jumpasses look horrible too……..everyone does a wheird over the head pass inside or outside and sometimes they do a one handed pass. Damn fundamentals went out of the window here.

I might buy both and sell one back this year……nba live 10 pisses me off too much witht he fixed animations where you somehow lose control……….this games passing sucks but it at least has signature moves and dunks………….lives dunkpacks are a lot alike for stars.

oh yeah………….nab lives passing is messed up even more……….never can pass to who you want unless its icon passing, then the alley oop pass is broken as hell. they throw lobs to three point line while Dwight howard is under the rim.

Crazy animation at the 6:36 mark of the nets bulls game, when Hinrich crosses over Padre and gets fouled on the layup and then he knocks down the fella that mops up the sweat!!! Doesnt have much to do with the game play, but is pretty fresh. Its sorta like being about to walk the streets on Grand Theft, and shoot people, doesnt have anything to do with the game play…but does add to the overall experience. Maybe thats why 2k scores higher…not because it has better game play, because the real nba doesnt have great gameplay. Most folks go to nba games for the extra things. loud music, stadium, dancing, etc…
