Latest Update on Madden 10 Patch #2

One thing constantly being requested is info regarding the upcoming patch for Madden 10, so here is the latest. Per Ian Cummings on Twitter the second patch is still being worked on. It appears they are attempting to get as much into this patch as possible and as such it has still not been submitted to MS or Sony for certification. Indications are that could happen within the next week or so. That would put the patch on track to release in the first half of November.

The patch is expected to include many community requested gameplay tweaks along with adjustments to the sim stats in Franchise mode, fixes to problems that the first patch caused, and the addition of the Seahawks alternate jerseys. Complete details of what the patch will entail have not yet been laid out, and that probably will not be done until the submission has been officially made or until cleared and ready for release.

All I am hoping for is cpu AI adjustments. The cpu needs to play smarter and execute plays better. I am so tired of beating higher rated cpu opponents using a much weaker team and the sliders greatly in the cpu's favor. Trust me, it's not that I am a great Madden gamer at all, it's just that the cpu's execution on plays is absolutely terrible. Unfortunately it looks like I will soon be going back to Ncaa Football 06 on the ps2 again for my football gaming until next summer. Last gen football still plays so much better, sadly enough.

Try using the raiders with Jarmarcus Russel at QB. I couldnt pass for crap. had to trade his fat azz to philly for vick.. but i agree with what you're saying

Saw it happen in an online franchise, Redskins had Smith & Suisham switched on the depth chart. All the kicks & punts were awful.

Please fix tha offline franchise free again cap because Chris Mcalister cap says 850K but if u try 2 sign him he want like 7 million but tha cpu can sign him 4 850k this needs 2 be fixed

How about my top 5 halfback holding out for over $90m, so I give up, don't sign him right away and skip through rookie signings, intending to pick him up after I get through the other preseason stuff and the CPU has him signed before I even get to free agency. Not only have they signed him instantly in a miracle, CPU-only bidding period that doesn't even appear to exist until you screw up, they signed him for 1-year, $450k.
