I am playing offline franchise with the Colts and I was tied with the Patriots at the end of the season. However, I beat them in the regular season. Yet they got home field advantage in the playoffs.

Also, the Steelers and the Ravens (in the same division) had to play in the wild card playoff week and instead of the two teams being split apart because they are in the same division they had to play each other the first week of the playoffs.

AND FINALLY CAN THEY PLEASE FIX THE LUCAS OIL STADIUM ROOF. I AM SO SICK OF THE ROOF BEING "CLOSED" AND THEN ON A VIEW BETWEEN PLAYS YOU CAN SEE THE STADIUM OPEN DURING THE SAME GAME. SOOOOOOOOOOO SICK OF IT. SUCH AN EASY VISUAL BUG TO SEE AND YET IT SPLIPPED THROUGH GA RELEASE AND THE 1ST PATCH SO SO SO SO SO SO SICK OF SEEING IT.

yes but they need 2 fix the patch on kickoffs…so if some1 wants 2 keep wasting ur time by jus sitting there or keep goin back and fourth wit a onside kick and a kickoff…and if they do dat and waste da play clock time should be penaltalized instead of u still wating 2 recieve the ball off a kickoff. this should result in a penalty 5 yards for delay of game and not all kickers hae a strong enough leg to kick it n da endzone which the longer they have to kick da shorter the kick will be and u could possibly have a better kickoff return ratio better…easports needs 2 fix dat den it will be a better patch

i liked not having potential and if you do good with anyone with a certain stat they do as well as the next person. for example i had matt forte but barely used him and with a potential and a 300 yard season he went all the way up to a 95 but reggie bush had 1500 yards and won mvp but only went to an 83 because of his potential. people need to go up much more by performance and not data pre set in the game

the thing with most people posting here that they get 30 sacks is that they are running Nano blitz packages and know it or they are and they dont know it and just assume that they not having a problem getting the QB. I play on all-pro offline and play a sim game running real plays with the real playbook not changing the shit like most of you out there. and i get between 12-14 sack with a DE and 9-12 with a DT and 6-9 with a LB or two nothin over the top just the usual.. i think that hte patch will mak eme get twice that because the QB throwing early saves him alot when i play

anyone else get tired of offline franchise because you can draft a stud in every round?
take the jack english draft, i got jack english (traded for 1st overall pick), boma in round 2, round 3 i picked up a linebacker (torian watts or the other awesome a potential olb) got leron james in the 5th, in the 4th got a te phoenix bible with a potential and also got prince justin. all a potentials because the scouting bar is ordered from best potential, it's ridiculous.

my personal belief is that potential should be hidden and not something that can be seen, just like real life. i don't want to be able to know that the guy i picked in round 1 is a D potential and redraft that position next year, i think you should have to see the performances themselves, if the guy just stinks and his ratings don't go up you can figure he's got a low potential, and therefore he's a bust.
you shouldn't be able to get so many 80's in late rounds, i think there should be the odd talented player in a late round like 1 per draft, but all the immediate high ratings should be in the first 2 rounds, their potentials differentiating them.
therefore a good draft is based on looking at things like their 40 times and size, college production (we're next gen, i'm sure if you remove something lame like madden moments- nice touch but i'd rather have an amazing franchise- and put in like a parallel collegiate season, or at least certain players being division touchdown leader, sack leader etc.)
i'd also like to have a working Injured Reserve that the cpu actually uses! it's ridiculous how it makes no difference to your roster number and cap hit.

this might look like a mess but i feel at least having the option to hide player potential should be achievable, as should sorting through the draft classes and finding gems in POTENTIAL instead of OVR in the later rounds (with exceptions of course but not too many)

so i can actually recreate the next 2 years draft classes or something?
man, franchise is annoying me right now, my team is too good and there's no competition.

in addition its ridiculous that in the 4th quarter cpu qbs become perfect, they can be sacked on 1st and 2nd down and then complete a perfect ball on 3rd and 28 and the qb is jim sorgi or like jamarcus russell. it doesn't make it fun.
obviously money plays should be eradicated, dodgy stats should be sorted (season 1 i had about 18 players with 100 tackles plus, majority of sacks coming from 34 DE's also, which is ridiculous)

this is all do-able. i'm not gonna moan and say i'm never going to buy madden again i love football too much and it's still a GOOD GAME, but there are some things they can do easily, i don't buy time and budgetary constraints either as it IS EA here, invest, you know the profits are gonna be rolling- ANOTHER GRIP. just-eat adverts IN GAME, wtfffff? no way, i don't mind having real stadium sponsors instead of scarn paper co. and vandelay world bank (every stadium is one of these 2 btw. bit of a joke)
snickers and sprint is all realistic, however, a little pop up that means you can't see your Tight End is a joke.

Downloadable Content is a joke too, this AFL thing should be unlocked by winning a superbowl or something not paid for. as should being able to play a superstar season as a real player. i think you are taking liberties there too. if i want to do a season as Peyton Manning then i shouldn't have to pay a few dollars for that right, 50 bucks is enough straight up.
and weekly roster updates are great, but quit boosting one game wonders, it unbalances the game too much! only like give a stat increase to players like Odom who before he got injured made loads of plays consistently and not like Henne who after his first start did well and went up to a high 70. it's a joke.

I think you should be able to load the new rosters into an offline franchise. Many people like playing with the most up to date rosters and I dont want to have to start my franchise over when a new roster comes out and there are some drastic changes. We should be able to load the new roster right into our current franchise so we dont need to start a new franchise. I have been waiting for this feature for ages!!
