In what has become a yearly tradition a new Saw movie releases this weekend ahead of Halloween. However this time around it will face stiff competition from the low budget Paranormal Activity. The Saw franchise has seen opening weekend takes right above 30 million for each of the five sequels. Meanwhile Paranormal Activity made 20 million last weekend and will be doubling the number of screens it will be showing in as it finally goes wide. Saw VI will likely win this coming weekend but it will be a battle between the two.

I can't even stand the thought of a horror series having 6 movies. Let alone the fact that it's practically the SAME movie as the previous 5. FUCK!
