NBA 2K10 Patch (360) Now Available

Well its about time,I really hope this patch lives up to its praise,bcuz we all know they dont plan on making another one for any reason,And thanks for all of your updates Pasta,I'm always checking this site daily mayb even so every couple hours,love the site and your work.

does anyone know: if u dont download a MyPlayer career, are u now able to change the Q lenght as well??

i tried this morning to do that and it looks like you're still stuck with 5 min quarters unless you download your player from the draft combine

all you have to go to is the options in the my player mode menu then presentation and the quarter length can be changed. Dig a lil for it people

maybe it is there when u downloaded it, but its not there if u didnt download your MyPlayer.... think a lil people

yea, i tried it just now as well, and it doesnt work.... and since i live i europe, i cant upload a player.... bummer

where do I download the patch?

it should pop up as soon as u start up the game... dont have to do anything yourself

I updated my 2k10 and I do see some changes, but my player is still frozen. I won the nba championship and cannot play the next game. This happen to two other friends of mine. I thought the patch would help

just dowloaded patch, my box froze up 6 times, but i can see a slight improvment in association. the feel is different. alittle outta control. and i still had my pg outta bounds after opponent makes a shot

(update) AAAAUUUGGHHH!!! i got to the lottery draft and its frozen AGAIN!!! whats the use...and why did i spend sooooo much money for a broken game...NOT HAPPY!!!

Im totally upset with 2k basketball this year, same problems from last year basically carried over to this year, with more new bugs to the game! How you let your cash cow fall off the map like this. If it wasnt for graphics 2k would be in a distant second to live right now! So easy to score on 2k pick and roll with anybody and its a bucket or a lay up!!!

Deleted the game from my hard drive about a week ago (I installed it to address the framerate issues) so I've been waiting for this patch. I just played a quick NBA Today game and the patch improved the game a lot. I didn't notice any slowdown at all. CPU plays more realistic... they miss more shots and don't charge down the court like they use to. Will see how the patch improved other modes of the game when I come home after my classes...

Let's stay on subject here, but to answer your question shortly, you can change your teams tempo with quick settings in the game.

...Downloaded this morning and played a little but before I went to work ( I wanted to call off!) Right off the bat framerate issues have been resolved and gameplay just seemed a lot smoother...reminiscent of 2k9. The game also seemed to load faster and didnt lag as much when connecting to 2k servers. I cant comment about some of the other issues as I didnt allow myself to play the game much until the patch came out...the initial framerate issues made the game unplayable. As an IT Analyst who works on software application products for a living, I still cannot excuse 2k for releasing such a defect ridden buggy game. I feel sorry for the project team, because I know the developers and especially the testers knew the garbage that was about to be released, but Im sure the "business" made the decision to push the game out. You dont do that...thats a sure fire way to LOSE customers...if it wasnt for this patch being released, they would have lost me to NBA Live,which is much improved. Im sure Im not alone in this. As of now, Im back with you 2k... dont let happen again...if the software is not ready..its not ready!

this crap better work there is no reason for me to have to spend one out of my two hours of free time trying to find a damn team up game and then my team mates beng crappy

i've been online alrady and it seems like i don't have if...how can you tell if you have the patch or not

jaq, are you sure youre online? As soon as I loaded the game ( and made sure I was online first) it prompted me for the patch, which loaded very quickly. You should run "Test Xbox LIve Connection" and make sure that you are really online...

@ BlaKOut, yeah i did all of that already ( a couple of times) i'm still on xbox live as we speak, but as far as my player mode i cant change the minutes

you should be able to change the minutes just go to presentation and scroll all the way down

if you have xbox 360 then its in the presentation but ps3 doesnt have it yet

You dudes are idiots. Sounds pathetic. Game was solid already. Anything else is gravy. I just got the patch. Same 35 pts with rudy gay on superstar vs cpu...still play my homies on HOF 5 min. Same greatness. 12 threes with the knicks...ho hum...2k10 is great

well it looks like 2k is back with this patch so if u got NBA live u better trade that crap in cuz it gets no betta then 2k they have fixed the frame rate issues in every game mode even team up pick up games in the d- league online matches offline matches its all fixed people so now we can go play , even the connections are fixed u go right into the game and it plays smooth online... so i guess good things come to those who wait, i feel sorry for the ones who jumped ship for live 10 haha now u will be crawling back cuz 2k is AMAZING SO AMAZING add me on live im cool peeps and can ball with the PG i no ball hog here just get under the rim or get open and u got the rock RossDaBoss52 gamertag.

What are you guys talking about? Pickup Games still don't work, Team up still doesn't work. The online servers are still awful. There is still loads of problems. Stop being so blind.

lol dude i just played 3 pick up games with no problem, if u are having problems it might be the other people's connection they might have a bad connection but the servers connect quick now, so i dunno whats wrong with ur xbox if u have ps3 that patch has not been released yet.

Say what you like, even with massive updates niether one of these basketball games are where they should be. To little to late ill hang with my Fifa 10 and leave the basketball playing to the real hardwood at my local gym.

I agree. For next gen and all the hype both of these games still have issues.

So from what I've read so far this patch fixed the game?? Somebody fill me in. I've been watching my Lakers win and get the itch to play a hoop game so if this patch worked 2k will get my mula.

just to let u guys know if u have a my player career already started and u playing 5 mins u going to have to start it all over make sure mins per qtr is set to whatever u want it to be on and play it from there. So if u already in a 5 min my player career u mines well start over and change the time.
