I also like this show as well. It is a little slow with the storyline but I do understand that they only have 5 months left to find out what is going on. They are not going to give up most of the show in the first season.

I really enjoy watching the show on Hulu, so I'll be very disappointed if it gets canceled. Ironically, character development and acting have been pretty good as far as I'm concerned. The first episodes were a little rough, but the problems have been ironed out a bit since then. I guess I need to go back to watching the show on TV to help the ratings.

I thought this thing had potential and was truly excited when I saw the initial previews. But as the season has progressed, I have found myself turned off by the lethargic story speed and terrible character development.

They're trying to have too many stories going on at one time without even completing one of them. My fiancee and I watched the last 3 episodes on DVR over the weekend and the most recent one we both commented to each other on the lack of progress. She even pointed out that they seemed to be trying to emulate LOST with this last story and how they revealed Bryce and his story/vision. Sorry, FF but you can't even hold a candle to LOST.

The show's pace is so slow. It had the intensity of 24 in the beginning, but now it's just dragging. By now we ought to be seeing some bad guys, especially with an attack of this magnitude... (like 24) The paper trail is weak, come on, these people used high tech devices to knock the entire planet unconscious and there's no signifigant paper trail of the terrorist attack after 9 episodes (weeks in time). The NSA, FBI, military would be mobilized searching every corner of the globe to find these guys with rash intensity. Jack Bauer would have been all over that in 24. Come to think of it, 24 could do a world wide blackout better than this.

Well that just makes me sad. Personally I like the show and have only missed watching two episodes on TV that I later watched on Hulu.
