Madden Ultimate Team Now Available

The patch that adds in the free game mode Madden Ultimate Team has arrived for the 360 and PS3. When starting up Madden 10 the prompt to update will be given and after that the new menu option will be displayed in the game.

I will be going through the mode today and have up some videos and impressions tonight or tomorrow. Until then feel free to leave your thoughts on Madden Ultimate Team in the comments!

Features

Online Leaderboards – Keep track of how your team ranks versus friends. Madden Ultimate Team online leaderboards will track your overall record, including head-to-head, versus the computer, and more.

man my team sucks so bad right off the bat but im not going to pay $ for packs. guess it does make me want to play more so i can improve the team. which is at least something good i can say about it right now

I know the keep saying that this is coming as a "Patch". Is this Team thing it, or is there an actual gameplay patch as well?? God knows this game needs it

Wasn't too excited about MUT but since I started playin it its pretty fun you basically have to play H.S. football bc your qb can't make the throws that you're used to making when playin Madden a decent concept

So far I am enjoying this more than I thought I would it is a challenge with the starter pack especially since I got JaMarcus Russell as my QB. Overall this is actually something that may keep me playing Madden for a bit longer.

You dont have to, but considering how cheap they are and how long it takes to earn the coins many will be seeing that as the best way to build the team.

Yea the contracts are kinda a wack esp if you spend money on a pack and you loose what you bought! i mean thats crap why would you wanna pay for something then loose it

Well if each card had unlimited plays everyone would be playing all star teams once they made them and the base idea of the game would end right there. This keeps things fresh and prevents cheap tactics in my opinion.

well im stuck right now! i got quit out on by a few opponents, and disconnected once, and now after buying a silver and bronze pack, have no starting right tackle! i cant even put my backup tight end there. I only have 35 coins left. your starter pack players should NEVER run out of contract.

basically, yea, i dont think so. maybe if i had like 70 more points, i could buy a cheap rt off the auction. I tried to auction 2 or 3 of my cards, so hopefully they get bought and i wont be done with this mode. though i lost my kicker too, but i dont think ive kicked any field goals offline anyway. im a turnover machine, fumbles and picks galore. I played online because the computer usually wrecks me in the turnover battle, while online its usually dead even and i win. the ONLY close game i had, i disconnected with 40 seconds left. We both dc'd and we BOTH got screwed. id rather just start over at this point, never play online and try to play 'smarter' (if thats what you can even call it when you fumble on 2 kickoffs in one game)
