2009 Year in Review Articles

2009 turned out to be an above average year for sports gaming. There were several quality games though only the top two on my list were really well rounded and delivered in every facet. There were also some big developments that will affect the future of the games in terms of development and direction. Here are links to all the year end articles for those who may have missed them.

Really appreciate how you bring everything together and assess the game on the full year and not just a review at release and then move on. How the companies act and the games perform after release is just as important.

I know that these reviews were based on your personal enjoyment of the games, but for NHL 10 to be absent from your top 10 hurts the credibility of this site. It is, after all, going to be considered by most as the best sports game of the year. Especially since it improved on NHL 09 which won 12 sports game of the year awards. I don't know, I just think it should have at least made an apperance in the top 10.

That article was never about the best sports games of the year. Its about the games pasta enjoyed the most. It does say that before going into every article for pastas top 10. Maybe pasta just doesnt do hockey. and i cant blame him. Im sure if he did an article of top 10 ten overall games based on a rating or what the masses liked then nhl 10 would be on there. But that wasnt what that article was about. Dont see how it knocks his credibilty when you took the entire article the wrong way.
