Divisional Weekend Ratings Change Suggestions

While the Conference Championship games will still factor into the final Madden 10 roster update some more trends can be found from the Divisional games played this weekend. Like the Wild Card games the weekend was saved by the final one while the others were blowouts. The results throughout the playoffs are to be considered in the next update.

Keeping track of some of the standouts, Shonn Greene continued his strong showing with the big TD run against the Chargers. Ray Edwards and basically the whole front seven of the Vikings were outstanding against the Cowboys. Sidney Rice had another huge game and has become a legit #1 receiver this season and Reggie Bush had one of the best games of his career. Like last year (Joe Flacco) a rookie QB has taken his team to the AFC Championship and though his numbers aren’t stellar Mark Sanchez has done what he’s needed to. Kickers continue to struggle in the playoffs and the Jets have benefited with five crucial attempts against them having missed. Meanwhile LaDainian Tomlinson looks like he’s finished.

Vincent jackson destroyed aso on a double move early this year. But one play doesn't warrant a drop. Aso set the bar so high for himself he drops for not making plays . It doesn't help that the raiders get gash through the air occasionally. But he still a beast. By the way what did they lower on aso?

i just want to know why when i play with the jags people like antwan barnes, will witherspoon and trent cole are able to catch up to mojo running up the sideline? let alone why cant he reach the outside compared to other rbs? the jags oline isnt that bad….not only that why is brian russel(who got cut like week 11/12) still on the jags roster but anthony smith(who had played good for us) not on the team? damn madden if your gonna go out your way and judge all theses playoff teams at least show respect for the teams that are STILL in the nfl. its a disgrace to the game man!

if i am correct peterson 18 TDS johnson 12 what matters most points or yards

You have to be a complete back to do so. He broke the yards from scrimmage record also, we all know CJ is a better receiver. He fumbles a bit less than Peterson as well if I'm not mistaken

I still want to know why an increase in speed is always the only way to improve a player? Last i checked players dont suddenly get faster playing football. I think fatigue plays a bigger part in who outruns who than overall speed does. If a linebacker is able to run with a RB on a route couldnt it be he say that play on film and recognized it and reacted properly (and that is totally what it is by the way) not that he is suddenly fast enough to react (which is WAY slower than the person you are reacting too) and then out accerlerate that player there? Seriously its like if a guy gets open its cause he is fast not because he runs great routes. In and RB breaks a long run its because he is fast not because he hit the hole with the right timing and made a good cut versus that defensive front

- Kaeding doesn't deserve a decrease. He hasn't missed one since Week 7 and all of a sudden he missed 3 easy ones? Looks like Rex might have slipped him some money for that game. lol
- LT should be at least 87-86. Close to Darren Sproles.
- Jackson should go up as well.
- Rivers should stay where he is. He played a solid game.
- Gates needs an increase.
- Dombrowski may be a back up, but he stepped up when we needed him. 71 should suit him well.

I hope when the last update comes out, they should add Demetrius Byrd to the roster. Or the FA pool.
