Favorite Madden Ultimate Team Cards

One of the most intriguing elements of Madden Ultimate Team is in finding particular cards, whether it be through auction, packs, or a special deal. This is especially the case with the limited edition cards that are being created. Following their performances in the Divisional Playoff games Reggie Bush and Sidney Rice received special cards as 99 rated players. Only 1000 of them were offered and they sold out fast. Earlier today a Darrelle Revis 99 rated card was released only to sell out within minutes.

Those cards will never be found in packs or offered again, so they only way to obtain them now would be through auction. Looking through the auctions it is crazy how much some are going for. Pulling a great card out of a pack could itself buy several more packs by auctioning the valuable one off. I heard a 99 Randy Moss from the Vikings days went for over 100K coins. A couple Darrelle Revis ones from today are on there with asking prices of 40-60K. Buying one of those earlier for 10K could have netted a nice profit or even saving it for a later date when they’ll be tougher to find at auction turns it into more of an investment.

I haven’t even touched madden in months. I still haven’t even downloaded the patch containing Madden Ultimate teams. Football is just about over and there are just too many better games out there to be playing.

I haven't really bought many cards through auction other than my proffered playbooks. I like the cards I have for the most part. If they start adding historic players, I'd LOVE to have a Mike Alstott and Lawrence Taylor, though.

People that hate on people for buying the Coins kill me, because normally, it's those same people that play Madden 4+ hours a day.

I bought like 7 bucks worth of cards. My OVR is 88. My best card is probably my 79 ovr Matt Cassel. Before him Garrard / Sanchez were killing me. Besides that I'd say my 97 ovr Derrick Brooks has been beastly.

They need to stop devoting all their time to working on this crap and fix what made Madden what it is today: offline franchise. Offline franchise has been neglected for years and is a shell of it's former self. I think that's the main reason nobody likes Madden anymore.

I'm with every1 else I was enjoyin MUT until I ran n2 90+ teams & since you can't avoid or choose what rated team u want to play against online it took the fun out

i dunno, i hate the fact that people refuse to play teams that are in the 90s. I got my team to 93 ovr without spending any real money, and there was dudes who had 98 teams that wouldnt play me. I don't play 60's teams, because that isn't fair, but i earned my 93, so id like to be able to use it.

picked up the Legendary Tom Brady a few days ago for a very decent price considering what other people were asking for them, and it had 49 games on the contract…thats my best steal yet..

favorite card right now would be Ed Reed Legendary 99 OVR SS card…overspent abit for that one.

I would love the Moss Legendary card but im not going to spend basically $20+ dollars in coins for it.
