And my first reaction is the snub of Star Trek for Best Picture. Bummed it didn't get in over The Blind Side.

  • Kris

Disappointed the song from The Hangover didnt get nominated

  • andro

hmm no invictus or star trek but up got nominated twice (shouldnt be able to) and the blind side really?

Haven't seen The Road, but looking forward to it still. Is it shocking that it didn't get nominated for anything??

Still think it's ridiculous that they nominate 10 movies for Best Picture – pandering to the Nielsen audience. Is this the first time in Oscar history that ex-spouses have competed for Best Picture?

I don’t mind it. Its obvious that the five that would’ve been nominated otherwise were Avatar, Up in the Air, Hurt Locker, Precious, and Basterds. The other five get recognition for varying reasons which is probably deserved for all of them.

Disappointed Brad Pitt didn't get consideration for Inglorious Basterds. Glad Clooney got the nod for Up In The Air,

No it was DOA. Didn't get good reviews, didn't make money, had no traction going into awards season. I don't think it was nominated for anything along the way.

I'm alright with it. There are five movies which are the obvious top five that would've been nominated: Avatar, Hurt Locker, Up in the Air, Basterds, and Precious. The other five get recognition for various reasons which they probably deserve.
