That is basically what I was hoping to hear. Staying sim and with the anything you see on Sundays mantra. People who were expecting big reveals about the game or something of course would be disappointed but no one shouldve thought anything big would be put out there 6+ months before release.

I support EA for the most part, but this just sounds like more of their bullshit. Kind of excited for Madden 11 but at the same time I'm not holding my breath. I feel like maybe after making Madden 10 such a success they will go back to their lazy ways and put the same game out for the next 4 years with progressively better graphics like they did with Maddens 06-09. Hoping I'm wrong

I love how he talked about roster updates and but they totally screwed up the whole weekly rating concept that theytalked about for madden 10. At times there would be monthly roster updates, and even those were half-assed.

They said the same thing about 2010. Madden 10 was fun to play, but was full of bug issues and careless mistakes. It was about presentation, yet all the presentation elements were terrible ( sideline cams, pre-game, halftime show, etc.). There were numerous Jersey issues, animation issues, and overall many aspects of the visual images where dumbed down. I have been playing Madden for over 11 years now, and it is more of the same. I realize there is no competition out there, but Madden is only worthy of a B- these days. I want to be truly excited for a new football game, like Madden 2001 or 2005. I'd like to also see more stat overlays when playing in my season, when starting and playing games, and commentary that plays along with those stats.. streaks and records broken or being chased need to also be acknowledge, also the announcing for, playoffs and superbowls, and leading up to them are just awful – No enthusiasm or real feel that they are watching or that im actually accomplishing anything. that goes along with the stat recognition.. i just break the passing Td record and its just another touchdwon in the game.

and yes please add way more depth to the onlie franchise

Until the game has defensive AI and real player movement physics, it will forever be second-rate. The robo CBs still exist and it doesn't matter who it is….even if they can't see the ball they make a perfect interception for a TD.

Pretty sure progressive lighting will FINALLY be back. I like the direction they took in Madden 10 and I can see the game going places after this year. I cant wait to see the improvements with the cut scenes and The Extra Point. Gonna be awesome I think.

Trent Cole about a 230lb LB but now around 250 and a top DE
Thomas Davis FS in college and now is one of the fastest and hardest hitting LBs

Jairus Byrd was around 180 and a CB now about 200 and the ball hawk FS
Dexter McCluster is a RB in college and will most likely be a WR in the NFL
Basically the training should be put back in the game to change players speed, strength, catching, ext.
And a new aspact should be added weight loss and gaining it happens all the time in the NFL
With players to help their position or speed or strength it should be made to where you cant

The my favorite part about 09 was building players up. I tried this year with Darnell Ellerbee
But no matter how many years or tackles pics and sacks I got he never got faster or past a 69

The progression could be a lil better too I hate running for 2000 with my RB that’s a 70 and he only

I myself am a franchise guy, so thats all I really care about in madden. I liked the last version they made for the old regular xbox, I think it was Madden 08 or 09. They had a good moral system where players would be upset depending on situations with their team or vice-versa. Like when a team captain got released or an extension. They really had good polish on the last gen consoles and have yet to bring any of what made those games good franchise-wise to the next gen consoles. the sim stats were much better also, no HBs going for 2500 yards rushing every year. They had a really good season as far as what Madden has been on the next gen consoles, but tiburon still has a few miles to go to keep me happy when it comes to franchise. Lets not forget that you cant change teams in franchise either. I personally like to build my team up into perennial contenders and then take over another franchise, usually the worst team and try to build them up. That was my favorite thing in the last gen console madden games, and they have yet to add it into next gen. Its weird, no “real” owner mode, where is it and when will it be added? The stupid arcade guy they just hired wont be helping my issues now will it Ian Cummings?

As long as they focus on the franchise mode, offline and online, I think I'd be happy. The fact that there hasn't been restricted contracts for players, more teams using the franchise tags (which should make the players unhappy), players unhappy with their contracts, is just sad and to me one of the major neglects the madden franchise has shown. The fact that they had it in 04-05 but not since makes it even worse. I'd actually would like to feel like a GM while playing franchise this year, if it's not too much trouble.

Update rosters without having to be in xbox live or the ps network as long as you have a Internet connection for evey system. Make the challenges better. Add the challenge option on the psp.

Dear EA, I love your games but nfl 2k5 to me was the best football game ever made. I think madden has come very close however for madden to become greater, the broadcasting has to be realistic after the game and before the game you see nfl analyst talking in nfl 2k5, please look at nfl 2k5 the little thing's in a game matters.I love madden but it needs to be realistic. Also created team mode should allow you to build your stadium and uniform creater.
