PS3 Version of UFC 2010 Getting Extras

UFC Undisputed 2010 will be providing exclusive content in the PS3 version of the game. As of now these extras will not be available for the 360 even via downloadable content, though that could change down the line. The PS3 version will be receiving exclusive fighters as well as exclusive “Ultimate Fights”. Though these additions seem unlikely to change someone’s purchase from one version to the other they are notable enough to mention.

The “legends” (pictured above) who will be available only on the PS3 are Dan Severn, Jens Pulver, and Royce Gracie. Severn and Gracie are no longer active in the UFC but are Hall of Famers.

While the 360 and PS3 will share the same base 15 “Ultimate Fights”, which provides an opportunity to recreate the great fights of the past, the PS3 will have an additional five.

UFC 18- Carlos Condit vs Martin Kampmann
UFC 60- Matt Hughes vs Royce Gracie
UFC 66- Keith Jardine vs Forrest Griffin
UFC 68- Martin Kampmann vs Drew McFredries
UFC 102- Nate Marquardt vs Demian Maia

stop it with the exclusive content! so frustrating even though these things arent a big deal. why favor one console and leave everyone else (in this case more people than not) where they cant even enjoy the same full experience as the other people.

Which is most likely WHY the exclusives are on PS3… That's the only reason I can think of.

The whole exclusivity thing is a complete waste of time. Basically people will buy a game for the system they own and/or the system most of their friends are on. I have never heard of anyone buying a game b/c of exclusive content. Besides the exclusive content will eventually come out for the 360 any way. I think people can wait the extra time.

My beef has always been that IMHO i think the 360 is holding back the video game industry. Now I am not saying the 360 is a bad console or has bad games. At this stage games are identical on both systems and that is where the problem lies for me.

Its no mystery about the stroage capcacity blueray offers (50GB) which is roughly 3-4 times that of 360's conventional DVD. Since 360 tends to be the lead console for development coupled with the fact that devs wont make two versions of the same game, suffice it to say PS3 will never get to see the full realization of the console unless the game is a PS3 exclusive like GOW3, MGS4, GT5, Uncharted 2.

Perhaps if Microsoft stepped up to the plate and offered a bluray upgrade then we could see better games.

OMG How does this not matter? Do any of you even know who these 3 are? LOL Let me fill u kids in,Pulver is a hall of famer who was rhe first person 2 beat BJ Penn.(Ala rear naked Choke).Severn is a legend who has over 100 MMA fights (91wins-16 loses) oh and by the way hes just about the same size as brock lesnar.Oh and lets not forget Gracie who revolutionized fighting forever…again how is not relavent?Im hoping they atleast give them theit correct stats and not make them as older versions of themselves.(Severn>Lesnar),(Pulver=Penn or very close) and Gracie should have the highest submission stat in the game.

still “YAWN”.. The graphics for it are way better on the 360 anyway I have both the PS3 and the 360 and I have to tell you the PS3 graphics for it look like garbage even the menu looks lame its basically like your still playing it on ps2.

I agree about the graphics but for pasta and others 2 say these characters are irrelevent is crazy.And yes these graphics do suck thats why i sold UFC and kept playing FNR4.BTW im not buying into the whole exclusives crap anyway.

Watch the fight he was caught but escaped same as Pulver when he was caught with a armbar.And i stateing that Jens is an acompished grappler.( fought in NAGA as well as myself) He is not on the same leve as Penn on the ground but should be close to him as far as being a lightweight fighter… oh and you do know that BJs got a 15-5 record in mma.Thats 3-1 if you cant do the math yea not that impressive.

Thats a SUBMISSION tounament BJJ vs Judo (No brainer who wins there) judos an upper body form of gtappling that id focused primarly on takrdowns and very few actual submissins.Although i did misinterpreted what i was trying to explain that jens is an acomplished grappler (not on BJs level)and you asked me if i know of pancrase and i do. now you talk of panckration which is completely different and yes i know of that too so know i ask whats your point? btw judo guys couldnt catch a GJJ student in a submission 2 save their life! Pulver did NOT choke out BJ Penn he one by a razor thin decision. He cracked BJ in that fight but at no time was BJ in danger of being finished.BJ Penn would not get sub'ed by Jens Pulver on his worst day. Anyone that thinks Jens Pulver is some kind of MMA “legend” does not know much about MMA.

Wow Dana!!! I guess the money is more important than the fans, because you have sold out quicker than I thought you would. PS3 exclusive? How much are they paying you for that? Three characters is not too big of a deal, but it's still two characters I won't be getting in the final product. Well Dana I hope you enjoy pushing the PS3 version, because the only way I will buy this from you is when I buy it from a second hand store. I sure can't wait for EA's MMA effort!
