Madden 11 Roster Update #10 Details

The post NFL week seven roster update for Madden 11 is expected to arrive tomorrow. This update features Chris Johnson, who just reclaimed a 99 rating last week, falling back to 98. Vernon Davis and Ray Lewis get solid increases with Davis now just a point away from the coveted 99 overall rating.

Jared Gaither, Adam Jones, and Dallas Clark are amongst a large group of players to hit the IR. Curiously Tony Romo had just a single point deducted and otherwise wasn’t affected in this update. Aaron Smith also was not placed on the IR though he was dropped on the depth chart.

The biggest beneficiaries turn out to be the Raiders who get 12 players increased with no players dropping. Eight players go up for the Panthers and just one down. The team to take the worst hit is the Cowboys who have 12 players drop and just Dez Bryant move up.

        Honestly, look at it man. We have a Hall of Fame coach, great running game, two good QB’s (regardless of that nonsense that Andy Reid is feeding you), a great d-line, good secondary, and workable LB’s.

        Just take a better look. We haven’t played the Texans or the Colts yet. When we drag them across the field we might get some respect…and we will.

I thought Webb should have been a little higher than he was to begin with. He is def not a 75 ovr corner. I thought Joe was gonna go up.     Apparently a pick 6 means that you get a point worse if you’re Cortland Finnegan. I think they just lowered the guys on the titans because of how much they were raising some of the others. But playing this 98, 99, 98, 99 game with Chris Johnson makes no sense. I’m sorry that he isn’t going to rush for 2500…..it’s tough to do when they put 8 or 9 in the box every play.

It’s unfortunate Ronnie decreases, but the numbers aren’t lying, even though he isnt getting ANY carries, AND he’s faced the stingy Jets, Steelers, Pack, Vikes, and Pats (overall d sucks, run D 9 overall) defense. 76 carries to 6 games that’s…….12 carries per game. 12 MEASLY CARRIES.       Hm, let’s see Vernon Davis gets passes from Alex Smith, Troy Smith, and David Carr. Gates gets passes from Rivers in a pass happy team with no other WR threats that are healthy or on the team right now. Davis has 100 yards less and 4 TD’s less, but again Chargers know how to score and SF would rather give it to a running back when they get the chance to score because of the fact Smith might throw an INT in the Endzone. Did I mention that Vernon has 3 less catches so far? How do you think he would do on a team with a QB who could throw and not have to worry about being pulled?

      You obviously don’t watch much football, maybe only the Chargers. Vernon is bigger, stronger, way faster, and is an immensely better run blocker. Not only that but he still puts up good numbers with a sub par offense. Meanwhile, Gates is the only quality receiving target in San Deigo. And don’t say Malcolm Floyd or Patrick Crayton are good either. Both are career backups.

Wallace had two catches the whole game one was big but allen just was not fast enough his skills were not the problem come on EA be fair allen deserves to go up not down. You forgot chris clemons for miami he forced a couple fumbles and has been solid in coverage yet he is at a below average rating of a 70 EA wake up. He threw two picks and lost a fumble in the first quarter last week, and if not for Kenny Britt stepping up and taking balls away from defenders, he would have thrown at least four picks on the day, with his one TD he managed in the first quarter and less than 200 yards. I don’t think it was a fluke because you can’t beat the #1 teams in the NFC (Green Bay and Dallas) as home and beat a tough Tampa team back then as home and still call it a fluke.
