NBA Jam: On Fire Edition Includes Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp

NBA Jam: On Fire Edition will feature the classic Seattle Supersonics pairing of Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp. The duo was not included in last year’s NBA Jam release due to a licensing issue but EA Sports and the NBA were able to work out the details this time around for the digital download offering due out in October for $15. The Sonics team will be rounded out with Detlef Schrempf. Check out the full article over at ESPN.

The write-up also includes info regarding online modes planned for OFE. ‘Jam Now’ (unranked up to four players), ‘Road Trip’ (co-op campaign), and ‘Arena’ (dynamic weekly tournaments).

  Sorry didnt explain myself enough the game doesnt SUCK buuttttt I still like the OLD VERSION Better its much more fast and is really fun to play but the new version isnt bad

they might add jordan to this, who knows? EA said they were able to get the go with NBA, the only reason its kept a secret because he was a major player in the NBA

  DONT think so MICHAEL JORDAN has a 3 year contract with NBA 2k so EA couldnt put him in the game

It will take alot more than Kemp to make me buy this garbage. I’ll just pop in my ps1 jam t.e. and play with Kemp there.
