The first trailer for the romantic comedy Seeking a Friend for the End of the World has arrived. Starring Steve Carell and Keira Knightley the story occurs with just three weeks left until an asteroid is to hit Earth – as a man left by his wife takes a trip with his neighbor to reunite with his high school sweetheart. Seeking a Friend for the End of the World is slated to release on June 22nd.
Set in a too-near future, a man searches for a meaningful connection as humanity’s last days are at hand. Can he find his greatest love at the worst possible time? As the respective journeys of Dodge and Penny converge, the two spark to each other and their outlooks – if not the world’s – brighten.
