I posted the latest weekly sales data in a different thread on Friday but it bears re-posting here (would’ve saved it if I knew the March npd was going to be part of the Line Drive).  It’s great seeing The Show — which is as close to perfect as it gets for baseball fanatics — and NBA2k12 doing well with the sales this year:

     As for the weekly sales:…
    NBA2k12 (360) — # 7 on the weekly chart (great for 2k)
    MLB12 The Show (PS3) — # 15 (hanging in there!)
    MLB2k12 (360) — # 22 (not too bad)
    NBA2k12 (Wii) — # 52
    SSX (PS3) — # 58
    SSX (360) — # 61
    TW13 (360) — # 67
    TW13 (PS3) — # 71
Nowhere in the weekly top 100 (ouch!):  Grand Slam 2 or Fifa Street.
Even worse than that for EA, it’s got to be awfully embarrassing to see TW13 (both 360 and PS3) being outsold by NBA2k12 for the Wii.

Guess we’ll see how far along EA is with its “online universes” plan when Madden and NHL are released for Vita.  Kind’ve surprised there hasn’t been any mention of NCAA not being on Vita.  Being able to take The Show on the road is awesome and I’d think the Vita would be perfect for a good football or hockey game, both of which could take advantage of having a wider screen with which to show great TV broadcast camera angles.
