NBA Live OTP night four recap

February 10, 2008 by pastapadre

Pastapadre NBA Live 08 OTP Night

There was only one game on night four of NBA Live 08 OTP which had the Chicago Bulls @ LA Clippers. It turned out to be one of the cleanest played games thus far even though one side was in control the entire way throughout. Where some of the earlier games had a frantic pace and predominantly centered on quick scores and easy baskets, this one had a more controlled pace and came down to half court offense and rebounding.

The rebounding discrepancy tells the story of the game. Chris Kaman alone matched the entire Bulls team with 20 rebounds. The Clippers prevented the Bulls from getting the number of second chance opportunities that they had.

Overall it was just a good team effort by the Clippers. Continue on to read the full stats and watch the video of the game. Thanks to Im P Dub from over at NLSC for recording and uploading this one.

Personally I think it is worth it especially now that they have team play. Team play is a very fun game mode if you have good teammates.

I think live 09 will really compete with 2k9 this year so maybe both will be better

Ive asked this question before but got no answer. I was wondering if OTP can be played with a guest on your 360? I know Halo 3 can but I was wondering if this can. Someone please let me know. Thanks guys. I want to play this badly so please let me know.

I’m pretty sure you can’t have a guest in TP.

Leo, my opinion is if you can get Live 08 used for under $40, then the online team play is definitely worth it. I have 2k8 and play association mode. I can’t bring myself to finish a Live 08 game against a cpu opponent. So, just for the OTP, it’s worth it.

Does anyone know a exact date when the next roster update is coming out?

No all ea is saying is that its going to be after the trade deadline so my guess is the first week of March or really late this month.

States here that its coming “around the all-star break”. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up holding off to get all the trades in.

Ah… my bad (for my question in the last thread). I didn’t know what “OTP” stood for. No… 2k8 does not have that. Sounds interesting though.

In the blog it says “We have some pretty cool content for you guys included in the update.” Are they going to add more online game modes ?

Next time you have an OTP night, I’d definitely be interested in playing. Gamertag- Rangerskm.
