What position for RTTS?

Padre’s Road to the Show career in MLB 08: The Show will begin soon (hopefully tomorrow) so I wanted to settle on the position to be played. The majority of suggestions that have been made were for an active defensive position such as SS or 2B or as a closer. I should be able to do good recaps and videos for those positions. Vote in the poll below for which you’d like to see Padre play.

I was waiting to see what position before deciding that. Maybe tonight I’ll put up another poll with a handful of teams to choose from. I want to be with an organization where I have a chance to advance so thats dependent a lot on what position.

I’ve never been as excited for a game as for ML 08. My walmart (in the boonies of ohio) says they won’t have it until wednesday. Argh. Anyways, I can’t wait to see your story from RTTS. I read that they worked on improving the catcher’s involvement of defense. Do you think you could just do a really short trial (two or three games) with a catcher and see if they really made good on that promise? Thanks a lot, can’t wait to hear about it from you!

^Yeah I drove through parts of Ohio once and I couldn’t even find McDonalds off the exits. I was seriously starving.

You pick the major league team and then end up in their system on one of their minor league affiliates

Ya know… I hadn’t thought about this until now… but starting a career as a closer would be a good way to breeze through an entire season pretty quickly. You could quick sim until they need you and about 50% of the games they won’t.
