NBA Live OTP night eight

Pastapadre NBA Live 08 OTP Night

Another NBA Live 08 OTP night is set for Saturday beginning at 5PT/8ET. You can meet up in the pastapadre custom lobby room or if I see you on my friends list playing Live and not in the middle of another game I’ll generally send out an invite as well. The first game starts up minutes after the meet-up time with the invites for the second game going out after the completion of the first (once I’ve written down the stats).

With the roster update out we’ll get in a couple games with teams that have completely different looks following the trade deadline deals. Bulls @ Cavs followed by Nets @ Mavericks will be the matchups. I’m also now in the process of having the OTP night with NBA Live producers coordinated so hopefully soon I’ll be able to give a date and time on that.

I’ll try to be there and test out the ability to record the voice chatter along with the game audio. Get your trash talk ready!

Both game were blowouts. Total mismatches across the board. The cavs were to much for the bulls and the mavs were to much for the nets. I don’t like it when people are still going for steals and charges when they are up 30 and calling timeouts with .9 seconds left, but hey thats just me.

ya both games were pretty bad. I was on opposite sides…..lost the first, won the second. I HATE Lebron James!! that guy cant be stopped on the game…..oh well. Still fun to play with cool people. I think once the game becomes a blowout, people just start to have more fun. It does get out of control a bit. What i dont like it when people quit in the middle of a blowout. Just play through it. I stuck around when Team USA was laying waste to Argentina…….but i still had a good time. Cant wait till next time..

Were the games fast break dunkfests?

i think the first game was a lot of dunks and runouts……and A LOT of LeBron!! Unstoppable!! The second game had a lot of offensive rebs and second chance points by the Mavs. Anytime we missed, we got the offensive rebound. I think it mostly just came down to bad matchups this week.
