NCAA Football 09 first week alternate jersey screenshots

As mentioned earlier in the week EA Sports is releasing a new screenshot each weekday showing off one of the 50+ alternate jerseys in NCAA Football 09 on the game’s official website. To recap the ones released thus far I’ve included them here. Click the thumbnails below to view them full size.
Look for West Virginia to be featured on Friday. Any questions regarding what alternates are in the game feel free to leave in the comments and I’ll attempt to check for them (some teams have two alternates but I have yet to see more than two).
Pasta can you tell me how many jersey option there are for Oregon and also if they have the all white uni for them including white helmet. Thanks man
is it me or do the numbers on the jersey look weird they dont looked stiched and college jerseys are
Are Tennessee’s all orange uni’s that they wore in the sec championship game available.

Nope, not just you. I hate that EA uses flat textures to model stuff like that. The details on the players are like that too. Look at the elbow pads they wear or the QB armband. They have no depth. They are just a different skin on a part of the model.
EA isn’t the only company that does it, but more game makers are actually modeling things more, so they don’t look so flat.

If there are 50 alternate jerseys, that means there wont be many teams after they add Oregon’s 35. LOL
Anyway, I hope that they have the FSU All-black unis…they look good, even though they stink right now.

Do you know if they will have a download later on in the year after the game is released with the rest of the alternates that they didn’t put in? Or is this going to be a thing where they only add on more with next years release?

They better put UGA’s black jersey’s in the game
I sure hope that they include Florida State’s all black with “Unconquered” on the side of the pant legs. I am not a Noles fan but those jerseys are sweet.

Last year, NCAA organized jersey’s by top. Do you think that will be the case this year. If it were, it would open up a ton of options jersey wise. Using WVU as an example, if they just made white, gold, and blue jerseys and white, gold, and blue pants, players could make 9 or so combinations. I think that’s what players want. Any chance that happens this year?

Why are we getting excited about something that was a STANDARD feature in the older versions of this game? I do not understand why anyone is remotely excited about this- this is what you all should be EXPECTING out of your “next gen” NCAA football experience.
I’m sorry, but there are no excuses for this game to not include D1AA teams, EVERY SINGLE alternate jersey + pant combo avaialable, bowl patches, authentic player gear, stadium atmosphere, and bowl atmosphere.
Everyone needs to stop getting giddy over features that were included in the game since 2003, relax, and start demanding some actual innovations into the gameplay/atmosphere.

I agree. Good point.
It would be awesome if you could select the helmet, pants, and jersey independently before each game. This way, every single Oregon uniform combination would be available.

In one of gamespots articles from yesterday, they mention there will be all 120 subdivision teams for 360..can someone clarify that
If you can, I’m rather desperate to know if Georgia Tech has an alternate uniform. Our new uniforms haven’t been unveiled yet, but EA tends to get information on new uniforms before they’re shown for the first time anyway, I believe.
Are Florida’s blue on blue uniforms in the game? Perhaps the white on white? Thanks.

Those are what is expected to be unveiled, but they haven’t announced when they’ll be actually publishing pictures of them that were not taken by a camera phone.

I think I have come up with an okay list of alternative unifroms for major conference teams that would most likely be in the game.
FLA, UGA, SCarolina, MISS, TT, MIA, GT, CLEM, ARZ, WSU, ORE, OR St, CAL, Ill, UL, WV
I would also like to add Iowa State and Minn even though their unis are brand new. I was dissaponted in seeing FSU’s all red look to be considered an alternative uni since its just a chang of pants. My list above only includes schools with completely different uniforms than their default. Now I fear samller conference schools will get passed because a change of pants will take the small 50+ in the game

I dont think or want every single uniform Wisconsin has ever wore..i just want the uniform they wear EVERY home Week..Red Top, white pants..not red on red which theyve done 3 times in 15 years…And get up to date on the band music for teams…GETTING AMPED FOR THIS GAME…mlb the show is getting old..

i’m really upset with ea no entrances this year come on u got be kidding me.so no gameday crew or corso picking who he think will win so tell me this how can u do it on the ps2 but not the ps3 you can do the mocap ea you guy’s are just lazy.
and no d2 schools again i wish some other company can make a college football game like 2k they give the fans what they want and no espn presentation well why have the license screw ea i’m not buying 09.

Here are the specific alternates that I looked for from the suggestions. Sorry to those who I wasn’t able to check on.
Oregon has two alternates. In all they have white top, emerald green top, yellow top, and white/black
Tennessee all orange? Yes
Boston college white on white? Yes. One alternate which is maroon on white.
Florida State all black? Yes
Florida alternates? All blue, white/orange
Clemson alternates? All purple, white/purple
Georgia black top? Yes
does Oregon have the white helmet to go with the white jersey Pasta?

Pasta, I think EA may have screwed up Tennessee’s all-orange alternates. I saw in gameplay video that they added the Vols’ orange jerseys from the 70’s, instead of the ones UT wore in the ‘07 SEC Championship. The alternates should be more of a yellowish-orange and should not have stripes on the pants.
If you submit any uniform corrections to EA, will you submit this one please?
