  • MLB 14: The Show All-Star Rosters Updated
Posted July 15th, 2014 at 9:45 am No Comments
This week's roster update for MLB 14: The Show included the players for the All-Star Game which takes place this evening. The participants for the game were selected over a week ago but the starting pitchers and batting order were unveiled just yesterday. Unfortunately due to the timing that meant SCEA made a lot of guesses and the result are a number of inaccuracies. More disappointing (as the starting pitcher and batting order can be changed) is that players who have been added to the r...
  • All-Star Rosters Updated in NBA 2K14
    Posted February 4th, 2014 at 5:00 pm 12 Comments
2K Sports today released the latest rosters for NBA 2K14 and that includes those for the 2014 NBA All-Star game. While all the players are in - with Kobe Bryant there until a replacement is announced - the jerseys and court for the New Orleans event are not. Those are said to be updated later this week. The All-Star Game jerseys are similar to the Christmas jerseys - sleeved and with a big logo on front. It was just over a week ago that 2K finally added the Christmas jerseys and a few oth...
  • Next-Gen NBA 2K14 Rosters Now Outdated By Over a Month
    Posted November 27th, 2013 at 7:00 pm 54 Comments
While there has been plenty of justified grousing over the lack of post-release support - both in quantity and quality - from 2K Sports in regards to the NBA 2K series in recent years one of the advertised features for NBA 2K14 was "Dynamic Living Rosters". The hope was that would bring an end to inconsistent and inaccurate updates. While the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of NBA 2K14 has gotten a fair number of roster updates (though not fulfilling all promises) the Xbox One and PS4 have yet to r...
  • Dynamic Living Rosters Debut With NBA 2K14
    Posted September 2nd, 2013 at 1:45 pm 22 Comments
Post-release support as a whole has been a weakness of the NBA 2K series - so much so that EA Sports made roster updates coming out within an hour after every game ends one of the first features announced for NBA Live 14. 2K's updates have been released inconsistently, offered limited ratings changes, and gone with many players missing completely from the game for extended periods of time. The lack of effort put into updates has been one of the most discussed areas of disappointment relating...
  • NCAA Football 14 Named Rosters Now Available to Download
    Posted July 10th, 2013 at 3:45 pm 68 Comments
The first sets of named rosters for NCAA Football 14 are now available to grab through the Roster Share feature. These are fully named with no other edits made so they should work for online play. There will be some inaccuracies but this roster is likely sufficient for most who want to get a jump on Dynasty now rather than waiting for more enhanced sets. When those come around though I'll switch the file hosted under my gamertag on the 360 and point to another on the PS3. ♦Xbox 360: Pas...
  • File Sharing in Madden NFL 25 Opens Up to Rosters, Sliders, and Playbooks
    Posted June 24th, 2013 at 11:15 am 21 Comments
EA Sports has released a new trailer for Madden NFL 25 and this one details the new Madden Share feature. Though the news relates to the 360/PS3 version the fact that EA has declared the One/PS4 version will be similar or near identical in feature sets (besides what it is offering extra with the Ignite engine) means it can probably be expected there as well.  (more…)...
  • Full Rosters and Overall Player Ratings in MLB 13: The Show
    Posted February 25th, 2013 at 8:45 am 23 Comments
The team rankings for MLB 13: The Show slipped out last week and now comes an opportunity to see the complete rosters for every team along with the overall rating of every player. Though 17 players rated 99 there is a somewhat substantial gap between those at the top and the other highly rated players. Only 5 are rated 98 and 2 rated 97. Teams heavily stacked with 90+ rated players are the Cardinals (7), Phillies (7), Nationals (6), Angels (6), Reds (6), Giants (5), Yankees (5), and Blue ...
  • NBA 2K13 Updates All-Star Rosters
    Posted January 21st, 2013 at 11:15 am 9 Comments
2K Sports today released an update to the All-Star rosters in NBA 2K13. Chris Paul, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin, and Dwight Howard are now starting for the West. Rajon Rondo, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, and Kevin Garnett lead the East. This is the first year in which a traditional center was not required to be voted in and that makes for a lineup in the East that features three forwards instead. Though the All-Star reserves won't be announced until Thursday th...
  • NCAA Football 13 Named Rosters Now Available for 360 and PS3
    Posted July 12th, 2012 at 8:45 am 52 Comments
The first completed sets of rosters for NCAA Football 13 have made their way out for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The origin of the rosters are unclear - and total accuracy can't be assured - but for those looking to get names in as soon as possible these will probably do just fine.  (more…)...
  • NCAA 13 Rosters in Teambuilder Fixed
    Posted June 29th, 2012 at 2:15 pm 34 Comments
Yesterday EA Sports launched the 2013 version of Teambuilder for NCAA Football 13 but with it a number of issues were immediately identified. The biggest - and most concerning considering similar circumstances necessitated a patch with NCAA 10 - were rosters so inconceivably bad that it was clear a mistake had been made.  (more…)...
