NCAA Basketball 10 Demo Videos
Yesterday brought the release of the NCAA Basketball 10 demo (at least for those with a 360) and I posted up my initial impressions of the after spending some time with it. You can check out that article here. In addition to the impressions I wanted to get a few HD videos of the demo up. Review: The Men Who Stare At Goats
I generally tend to enjoy the understated dry comedies and that is what I expected from The Men Who Stare At Goats. While it tries to be just that the story trudges along with reliance on flashbacks for much of the progression. EA MMA to Feature Strikeforce
Considering the unveiling of EA MMA during the Strikeforce event tomorrow night it comes as little surprise that the Strikeforce organization will be featured as a premier league in the game. In addition to that announcement two new fighters have joined the roster in Brett Rogers and Jake Shields. Box Office Predictions 11/6/09
This weekend represents the unofficial start to the holiday movie season with the release of four new films that all have their own unique appeal. NBA 2K10 Patch (360) Now Available
The patch for NBA 2K10 on the Xbox 360 has gone live. When starting up the game an auto-prompt will appear stating there is an update available. As long as the console is connected online this should occur. The PS3 patch is still in the certification stage and appears headed towards release sometime next week. Prince of Persia Testing High
Just the other day the first trailer for Price of Persia: The Sands of Time was released and to mostly positive response. NCAA Basketball 10 Demo Impressions
Generally it takes a few times through to get a good feel for a sports game from a demo. However because of the similarities to NBA Live 10 the demo for NCAA Basketball 10 comes across as ultra accessible and familiar. Naturally much of what my impressions entail will be comparisons and contrasts between the two EA basketball games. EA Modifies NCAA Basketball 10 Demo Availability
EA Sports has sent out a press release announcing the availability of the NCAA Basketball 10 demo. It is now available for the 360. While it has not shown up in the "New Arrivals" section it can be found by going to "All Game Demos" and searching by the letter 'N'. What is most stunning out of the press release is a change to when the PS3 will be receiving the demo. NBA 2K10 Patch (360) Out Tomorrow
The patch for NBA 2K10 is scheduled to be released at about 2am PT for the 360 according to 2K Sports. As to the PS3 there is nothing new to share there so it seems likely that will happen sometime next week. The patch is supposed to alleviate framerate problems among other fixes that can be found here.
