After just one week of being the top selling DVD, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has already been dethroned. Yahoo! has posted a trailer for Angelina Jolie's new action/thriller Salt. The trailer is filled with a ton of action scenes and really gives us a good idea what direction the film is headed. MTV sat down with Scream 4 writer Kevin Williamson to discuss the latest sequel to the 1996 horror hit. New on DVD: Week of November 3
This week isn't a bad week for releases compared to the last few weeks. The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 was a pretty decent movie. The storyline was a bit far fetched at times, but overall it was an enjoyable movie. Also hitting stores is Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut. In September, I posted the details of what would be included in the special edition. It is definitely something to consider for the die-hard Watchmen fanatic. G.I. TNT picks up ‘Southland’
As previously reported, last month NBC canceled the cop drama Southland. Well the channel that "knows drama", TNT, has picked up the series and will start airing episodes in January. According to Entertainment Weekly: TNT announced this morning that it plans to re-air the series’ original seven episodes NBC broadcast, plus the six new hours that NBC ordered but chose not to air. It should come as no surprise that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was the top selling and rented DVD last week.
