  • New on DVD: Week of July 19

    After a bad week of releases, this week doesn't get much better. Nothing really stands out, except the The Losers. The action film scored a 47% on Rottentomatoes.com, which is a bit surprising to me. Pastapadre reviewed the film and gave it only 1 1/2 stars, so needless to say it might not even worth a rental.     Deadline is reporting that Will Smith is working on a new project called The Legend of Cain. Smith will reportedly star in and produce the film.     Chud has posted the details of the opening minutes of Transformers 3. Naturally these are spoilers so if you want to go into the film 'fresh' you might want to skip this post.     This might be one of the worst and most boring weeks for movie releases. Nothing really stands out as a 'must-buy'. I did have the misfortune of seeing The Bounty Hunter, and many critics would agree with me when I say this is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.     The second trailer for Robert Rodriguez's action flick Machete has been released. In the latest trailer we see a ton more action and get a good glimpse at the cast member. The cast is loaded with some well known actors. Not to mention there is some eye candy in Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez. If you missed the first trailer, you can find it here.     A few months back, it was announced that a third 'Harold & Kumar' flick was in the works. Before today we know that John Cho, Kal Penn, and Niel Patrick Harris would make their returns for the film. And today, New Line released the names of latest cast additions.
