UFC Undisputed 3 Beta Begins Today
After a few delays in getting it off the ground the online-centric beta for UFC Undisputed 3 will officially kick off later today. It remains limited to the Xbox 360 side with the PS3 getting a beta run at an undetermined date said to be later this month. The beta will run for a limited time potentially stretching up to two weeks and will be used primarily to test the new servers and collect feedback on any issues encountered. UFC Undisputed 3 Beta Pushed Back Further
The closed-online beta for UFC Undisputed 3, that was supposed to open yesterday before being delayed to today, has now been moved to Monday December 19th. The beta will initially open for the Xbox 360 - no word on whether the PS3 side will be further delayed or if that will remain on schedule as it was supposed to come sometime later in the month. UFC Undisputed 3 Beta Opens Wednesday
The upcoming beta for UFC Undisputed 3 - touched on in this article last week - is set to roll out December 14th for the Xbox 360. The PS3 will also get the beta test but that won't be coming until an undetermined date later this month. In a recent video interview UFC Undisputed 3 producer Neven Dravinski let slip that a closed pre-release beta is on the way. THQ’s Struggles with WWE 12 Online Causes Concern to Grow for UFC 3
With a history of poor online performance, which came courtesy of the decision to allow GameSpy to host, THQ made the decision to transition to their own servers for WWE 12 and the upcoming UFC Undisputed 3. Fight Night Champion Arrives on PSN; New Pricing Model Offers Modes Separately
In an interesting development that suggests EA Sports may experiment with a similar pricing model in the future, Fight Night Champion is available now as a download on PSN - but with the added option of certain portions of the game being made available for purchase individually. THQ Planning DLC for UFC Undisputed 3
As has been noted throughout the roster reveal process there are several relevant fighters who for one reason or another didn't make it for UFC Undisputed 3. Names like Nam Phan, Anthony "Rumble" Johnson, Matt Mitrione, Joe Lauzon, and a number of others are nowhere to be found.
