    The fifth in-season roster update for MLB 15: The Show arrived today. The most significant new rookie additions to the roster are catchers with Austin Hedges and Blake Swihart both getting 'A' Potential.Ā In terms of ratings changes the biggest surges have been made by Matt Harvey (+3 to 94), Zack Greinke (+3 to 92), and Andrelton Simmons (+4 to 88).Ā  (more…)...

    The fourth in-season roster update for MLB 15: The Show went out today. It includes seven rookies who made their first appearance in the majors over the last week - though none are quite as heralded as those added in the previous updates. Some ratings changes have also been made with Hanley Ramirez benefiting the most rising 6 points to 91 Overall.Ā  (more…)...

    The Show Live Mode in MLB 15: The Show has it's share of issues but it can still capitalize on unique events over the course of the season. One of them unexpectedly appeared yesterday when the Orioles took on the White Sox with no crowd in attendance. Select the April 29 game between the two teams, which Baltimore won 8-2, and you'll get to play the game with empty stands. Crowd sounds are turned off for this also.     The most common issues being encounteredĀ in MLB 15: The Show Online Franchise relate to game "challenges" that fail (even against the CPU) and games/dates that won't sim preventing leagues from advancing. It appears they'llĀ be addressed soon but the solution is far from ideal. We have continued to see issues in certain Online Franchises.     One of the things that allows MLB 15: The Show's Diamond Dynasty to stand out among the card collecting modes of other sports titles was the decision to use "living" cards.     The new rosterĀ update for MLB 15: The Show went out today and while it won't have the hype of last week's with Kris Bryant and Yasmany TomasĀ there are a few highly touted player additions this time around as well. Cubs second baseman Addison Russell ties Tomas as the second highest rated rookie this season at 79 Overall behind only Bryant.     This morning brought the first patch for MLB 15: The Show and it appears to address many of the concerns people had with the game in the weeks since its release.     The MLB: The Show series is widely recognized for all it does well but its faults or lack of advancement in certain areas seem to be wearing on many people. That has definitely been seen in the Metacritic scores this year but the sentiment isn't isolated to just reviewers. A poll was posted last week to gauge the temperature surrounding MLB 15: The Show after having been out for two weeks and the results, which came from over 4,200 respondents, are somewhat surprising.Ā  (more…)...
