Ever since the announcement of MLB Front Office Manager nearly a month ago there has been some good initial info provided along with a batch of screenshots. It has actually been outside of 2K Sports' M.O. to have this much about a game out this early, with the release date not coming until late January. The details on the game continue with Jon Robinson of ESPN having an interview with producer Edwin Loo. A bunch of topics are discussed at length. If you have any interest in the game it i...

The World Series begins on Wednesday with the Philadelphia Phillies taking on the the Tampa Bay Rays. Homefield advantage once again goes to the AL team. Few would've predicted this pairing before the season. This is a pretty intriguing match-up and it's nice to have two teams that haven't been there in a while (or ever in the case of the Rays) playing for the championship. I'll be in Vegas through games 3-5 so I'm looking forward to taking it all in from the comfort of a sportsbook. The ...

While the interview is about more than just the game there are some elements of it that are discussed that were not mentioned in the press release. It is definitely worth a read if you have interest in MLB Front Office Manager, fantasy baseball, and some of his GM philosophies. There's one part of the game that I love, which is like owner's competence --...

The cost of the exclusive licenses for the NFL and MLB have lead to EA Sports and 2K Sports releasing multiple branded titles for their respective sports. EA has done so with its arcade line of games such as NFL Street/NFL Tour and ultra-sim title NFL Head Coach. 2K has really been pushing out MLB titles lately. Of course the headliner is the MLB 2K franchise. We ha...

The writing was on the wall and 1UP has confirmed that the MLB 2K series will be developed out of the Visual Concepts studio after the closing of 2K LA/Kush. Recently it was announced that the NHL 2K series would be moving to Visual Concepts, though at the time the reasoning behind the move wasn't clear. While the departure of Ben Brinkman is a disappointment, a fresh start could be the best way to go for a series that has had major issues over the last few years. It isn't known yet whether...
