    The first significant discount on MLB 15: The Show is available today at Amazon where the PS4 version of the game is just $40. For a period of time MLB 15 had been going for $52 but this is the first it's dropped below that point. At $40 it's undoubtedly a great deal for anyone that has interest in baseball and it's unlikely to go any cheaper during the season.     Lots of rookies make their debut with today's roster update for MLB 15: The Show, including heralded prospect Carlos Correa, and "switch-pitcher" Pat Venditte. Correa comes in as one of the highest rated rookies this year, trailing only Kris Bryant, Yasmany Tomas, and Addison Russell among the crop to move up so far this season. The concept behind the videos will be to get into the head of players by analyzing the decision-making that everyone makes over the course of a game.     With the June 8th roster update for MLB 15: The Show a 'Diamond' player received an update to their Overall Rating for the first time this season. Diamondbacks’ 1B Paul Goldschmidt jumped from a 94 to a 97 thanks to his stellar start which finds him hitting .343 with 16 homers and 47 RBI. On the flip side, Rangers’ 3B Adrian Beltre dropped out of the Diamond tier after falling from 93 to 89 due to an average of only .257 and a trip to the DL. (more…)...
  • Patch Available Now for Super Mega Baseball

    One of the best sports games from last year just got better thanks to a patch that went out today on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. A ton of improvements and fixes are accompanied by some new features which primarily center on customization. Metalhead Software recently announced Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings which is headed to Xbox One and PC this summer.     The latest roster update for MLB 15: The Show arrived earlier today. While there are only a handful of new rookies added to the game who made their debut in the prior week they're fairly well-regarded ones. The prospects are led by Eduardo Rodriguez who has a 69 Overall Rating plus 'A' Potential for the Boston Red Sox. Among those moving up this week in ratings are Justin Upton from 88 to 90, Prince Fielder who gets 3 to 87, and Alex Rodriguez surging from 81 to 85. On the other end Robin...
  • Super Mega Baseball Coming to Xbox One and PC This Summer

    Metalhead Software, the developer behind Super Mega Baseball, which surprised many last December as one of the best sports games of the year, announced today that the game will be coming to Xbox One and Steam this summer. It had been exclusive to PS4 and PS3. The game will go by the new name of Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings.
