The promised sweeping ratings reevaluation for the entirety of the league is now approaching being a month overdue, but today's roster update for MLB 15: The Show is still a significant one. This is the post-trade deadline update and features all the movement including Troy Tulowitzki and David Price to the Blue Jays, Yoenis Cespedes to the Mets, Johnny Cueto to the Royals, Carlos Gomez to the Astros, and Cole Hamels to the Rangers. Among those to see their ratings rise this week are J...

Another week has gone by and the (promised for All-Star break) sweeping reevaluation of ratings for the entirety of the league in MLB 15: The Show is still nowhere to be found. In its place today is just a typical roster update, with the highest rated players affected being in the mid-80s. Noah Syndergaard is the big winner this week rising from 75 to 82 with Kyle Hendricks (+10 to 76) also getting a strong push. There's more in the way of downward movement this week with Tanner Roark (-4...

MLB 15: The Show gamers continue to wait with baited breath for the huge roster update that Sony San Diego had promised would come around the All-Star break since last month. After very few changes were made in last week's update, many were anticipating the significant re-rating of the entire league to drop this week. While there were a number of changes in the latest one, it was not the update that is being so hotly anticipated by the community.  (more…)...

Despite the promise of a huge roster update over the All-Star break period for MLB 15: The Show that would involve a sweeping reevaluation of the entirety of the league, that update has yet to be delivered by SCEA. A third week has now gone by with updates that have disappointed tremendously as they haven't even been up to par with those from earlier in the season while fans have eagerly awaited something that would greatly impact Diamond Dynasty. There's ratings movement for a few big n...

SCEA has promised a significant roster update for MLB 15: The Show that would feature a full reevaluation of the league over the All-Star break period. That update did not arrive today, so next Monday appears likely for that with the days off potentially providing the opportunity for them to accomplish the massive sweep on player ratings. For a second straight week the update is a mediocre one, no major movement in player ratings, but there are four well-regarded rookies that make their deb...
  • MLB 15: The Show Diamond Dynasty Market Report for Early-July
Posted July 7th, 2015 at 9:15 am No Comments »
The July 6th roster update for MLB 15: The Show contained only 32 updates making it the "calm before the storm". During a pre-E3 stream put on by the development team at Sony San Diego, mention was made that a “wholesale update similar to what we do in between annual releases” will be completed around the All-Star break. That was already highly anticipated but now even more so with this latest roster update delivering so little.  (more…)...
  • MLB 15: The Show week 13 roster update

Thanks to the revamped Diamond Dynasty, the roster updates for MLB 15: The Show have been greatly improved upon compared to past years, incorporating consistent ratings changes to go along with player movement. With the All-Star break near, this week's update is undoubtedly the weakest of the entire season, but with a huge reevaluation of the entire league promised either next week or the following week, that's not totally unexpected. The biggest movers up this week include Josh Collment...
  • MLB 15: The Show week 12 roster update

Max Scherzer has been on an incredible tear as of late, which included a no-hitter (hit batsman away from a Perfect Game), and a stretch of 23 1/3 innings where he surrendered just a single hit. That has resulted in a much-deserved ratings boost in the latest roster update for MLB 15: The Show that arrived today. Scherzer has risen 3 points to 97 Overall. Other players on the rise include Albert Pujols (+3 to 89), Dallas Keuchel (+3 to 89), and Brett Gardner (+3 to 86). Those headed downw...
