    The gold standard of sports management sims will reach its 20th edition when it releases next month. Out of the Park Baseball XX has now officially been announced with a date of March 22, however those that pre-order not only will receive a 10% discount but also get to start playing earlier on March 18.     This week sees the promotional efforts for MLB The Show 19 centered on its Road to the Show career mode. The primary improvements made this year are the removal of the ratings caps allowing players to once again reach 99s, the ability to define locker room personality for the character, and new training mini-games and performance-based challenges.  (more…)...

    Today SCEA released the first trailer for MLB The Show 19. As is generally the case with these trailers it's more flash than substance, so good then that it's accompanied by an upcoming promotional schedule that includes having listed potential improvements to the game and a few new features to speculate about ahead of their reveals.     SCEA has announced a closed alpha for MLB The Show 19 that is currently scheduled to take place from Dec. 13-19. The alpha for the upcoming game due out Mar. 26 will include playable Events, Battle Royale, Play with Friends, and Diamond Dynasty vs CPU.
