This year's crop of EA Sports games have been discounted leading up to and through release by Amazon. Madden NFL 20, NHL 20, and FIFA 20 have all been offered for just $50.94. Now a new promotion from the online retailer brings NBA 2K20 into line with those others. Rather than the lower price (likely not permitted to by the NBA/2K) Amazon is providing a $10 promotional credit with all physical copies for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Amazon Prime membership is a requirement...

Only a few hours had passed after the arrival of the demo for NBA 2K20 before developers began announcing changes that were being made for release of the game. Though not a beta the limited offerings in the 2K20 demo do provide for an opportunity for 2K to collect feedback on gameplay and that is being done primarily through social media and boards like Reddit. What appears on the surface to be a rush to make changes has led to many to question what appears to be the complete reversal of ...

The demo for NBA 2K20 has gone live on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. In recent years 2K Sports has referred to the early start with the upcoming 2K title as the "Prologue" but it appears that moniker has been dropped as the story mode no longer plays a role. Unlike previous years you won't be able to begin the narrative-driven MyCareer mode and have all the progress made (in an abbreviated beginning segment) carry over to the full game if purchased. This year's story stars Idris Elba an...

With NBA 2K18 the number of classic teams expanded from 45 to 62 and then no new teams were added in NBA 2K19. For NBA 2K20 however there will be six teams making their debut to take the total number to 68. They won't be ones however that feature either Charles Barkley or Reggie Miller who remain the most prominent holdouts among legendary players. Two relatively recent champions join the group and the others are meant to be showcases for certain intriguing players given that they were al...
