One would think that publishers would be laying low right now on the the monetization front with pressure from legislators that could potentially lead to the banning of any form of in-game monetization. Despite that Take Two and 2K Sports especially have always pushed the boundaries more than others and another example of that has reached mainstream status. Frustration has grown and manifested itself in massive discussion threads at Reddit, all over social media, and with articles on a nu...

NBA 2K19 is currently being sold for the remarkably low price of $2.99 on Xbox One & PlayStation 4. The official Microsoft page updated earlier to the price that almost amounts to giving the game away and Sony has since followed suit. At first this seemed almost certain to be a pricing error. Never has an NBA 2K game been offered for so cheap, on PlayStation 4 it was still listed at $60, the game had yet to drop below $18 in any deal prior, and neither Microsoft nor 2K Sports were pro...

While Anthony Davis ended up staying put in New Orleans leaving the Lakers with little to show for their efforts, the 76ers, Raptors, Bucks, and Magic all made significant acquisitions in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia added All-Star snub Tobias Harris (86 Overall) to...

The first roster update of the new year for NBA 2K19 has delivered a big shift at the top of the player ratings. James Harden has been on fire for the last month and has been rewarded with a two point boost taking him up to 96 Overall. That's good enough for the second-highest rating in the league (tied with Kevin Durant in that spot) only trailing LeBron James. The 96 Overall for Harden is actually the rating that he had at the start of the season, which was followed by a drop down to 94...

Now it's the potential that NBA 2K is utilizing copyrighted dances without authorization. The latest filings come from actor Alfonso Ribeiro (The Carlton), rapper 2 Milly (Milly Rock), and the owner of a popular Instagram account (The Floss). Take Two is joined by Epic Games' Fortnite as defendants which also prominently features recognizabl...

Having previously added the "City" jerseys NBA 2K19 has now turned to introducing the just-revealed "Earned" Nike uniforms. These are special alternates exclusive to the 16 teams that made the playoffs the previous season. Stylistically however they are just their respective City or Statement jerseys with different coloring. Due to the recent patch these and all other jerseys added to NBA 2K19 should show up in ongoing MyGM/MyLeague/MyCareer saves. Teams with the "Earned" jerseys: Warrior...
