    Posted December 23rd, 2014 at 11:45 am 12 Comments »
Over two weeks have passed since the second post-release patch for NBA 2K15 went out for PlayStation 4 and PC yet it took until today for it to make its way to the Xbox One. Communication was scarce over the period and the delay may suggest that it was actually rejected and resubmitted at some point or Microsoft simply has a huge backlog they're working through. 2K could have updated fans on its status but chose not to do so. Regardless now those on Xbox One who were frustrated over the p...

Though the frequency of NBA 2K15 roster updates have dropped off significantly they're still being provided regularly enough to keep the game feeling up-to-date. That's evidenced today by a new roster that executes the Rajon Rondo trade. However updates including ratings changes have only numbered three in the last two weeks and five in the last month. Compensating for that is bigger movement influenced by more performances.Ā  Check out all the changes in the spreadsheet put together here...
  • Completely Inaccurate Christmas Jerseys Added to NBA 2K15
    Posted December 17th, 2014 at 11:00 am 22 Comments »
An art update arrived today for NBA 2K15 that delivered new uniforms to the game. The "Pride" jerseys for the Celtics and Magic and a new alternate for the Cavs are included, but it's the Christmas jerseys that will get most of the attention. Those have been added for the 10 teams that are set to play that day. The main draw (or drawback in theĀ opinion of many) to this year's Christmas jerseys is that they feature the player's first name instead of their last name. However 2K15's represe...

  • NBA 2K15 Week Six Ratings Changes
    Posted December 6th, 2014 at 9:00 am 4 Comments »
After releasing roster updates nearly every day since the game came out 2K Sports has dropped off a bit with the consistency of them for NBA 2K15. The game went nearly two weeks without any ratings changes and at one point went 10 days with only one update (rotations, accessories) provided. Still the pace is far ahead of where the company has been in the past and easily exceeds what the competition is doing. 2K appears to be falling into the same trap that has plagued other sports games t...
