The always popular player face comparisons are back! It's unfortunate that there are so few opportunities to do these type of things due to the lack of competition in sports gaming. However with both EA Sports and 2K Sports touting their respective face scanning procedures NBA 2K15 vs NBA Live 15 should make for a good one. All captures were made through the same process to ensure even ground and there will be 30 faces total put on display. The majority are well known players along with a...
  • NBA 2K15 Roster Updates Keep Coming; Player Ratings Now Being Adjusted
    by

Over the weekend I wrote about how well 2K Sports has been doing with roster updates for NBA 2K15 - a stark departure from how they have historically struggled to provide any semblance of sufficient post-release support. The new dedication to rosters continues and now the ratings and tendency changes have started to come in making the updates about more than just the reflection of injuries and changes to accessories being worn. The biggest beneficiaries so far are Chris Bosh, Klay Thompso...
  • 2K Sports Finally Delivering Proper Roster Updates With NBA 2K15

Post-release support has always been a glaring weakness of the NBA 2K series. One aspect of that has been the lack of consistent roster updates. They were sporadic at best - often inaccurate and wholly inadequate. That has finally changed with NBA 2K15. Rosters are being updated now on a daily basis and it involves more than just player movement and rotations. Adjustments are being made to accessories and shoes, injuries and returns are being reflected immediately, tendencies are being ch...

Expected out soon for the Xbox One and PS4, and already available for those on PC, the first patch for NBA 2K15 attempts to address some issues discovered since release of the game. After initially only mentioning that there would be a fix for people getting booted out of MyPark 2K Sports has now released a list of what else to expect from the update. Given the timing it's no surprise that the patch is essentially just implementing some quick fixes for mostly minor bugs rather than making...
  • NBA 2K15 Server Problems Continue
    by
    Posted October 18th, 2014 at 1:45 pm 34 Comments »
NBA 2K15 has been out for nearly two weeks now but the troublesome servers continue to disrupt the game for many. Not only has access to the various modes been denied due to the servers being down but consumers are finding themselves with Virtual Currency that has vanished (which is essentially money stolen away by 2K Sports), MyTeam progress/purchases that have been lost, and MyPlayers that have disappeared (some of which have been replaced with someone else's created player). Not everyo...
  • Issues Having Large Impact on Experiences With NBA 2K15

Just how many people feel their enjoyment of NBA 2K15 has been damaged by issues primarily related to the servers? It turns out it's a large amount based on the poll posted earlier this week which helped to quantify the distress being shown on social media and forums. From over 5K respondents those describing their experience with NBA 2K15 as a negative one (30%) outnumbered those that feel it has been a positive one (27%). That's a serious concern for 2K Sports coming off 2K14 which g...
