EA has sent me complete lists of the top rated players in March Madness 08 broken down by position as well as the top freshman. These lists include not only the overall rating but also the ratings in 20 individual categories. Top five player ratings per position in March Madness 08
Earlier today we got the a list of (some of) the classic teams in March Madness 08. Now IGN has posted up the top five rated players at each position in the game. IGN also mentions the release date as December 11th. This coincides with the producer blog that mentioned that date as well. However everything else has stated December 18th. I will try and get confirmation one way or the other. (Update) Right now there appears to be no certainty around whether it will be the 11th or the 18th. ...

College Hoops 2K8 to have classic teams
2K Sports has revealed that College Hoops 2K8 will include 90 classic teams. Recently March Madness 08 announced that it will have "over 70". These are pretty good developments for anyone who has followed college basketball for a long time. For College Hoops 2K8, 69 of the teams will be from years past including the 1982 North Carolina Tarheels and the high-scoring 1990 Loyola Marymount Lions. EA has revealed the top 25 rated teams for March Madness 08 as well as given information on the upcoming release of a demo. The demo, which will be available for both the 360 and PS3, will come out in November. It will feature #6 Louisville vs #8 Kentucky.
