Guardians of the Galaxy Shatters August Box Office Record
Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy was expected to challenge for the highest opening weekend in August box office history but it blew right past 2007's Bourne Ultimatum which pulled in $69 million. Long-Planned Third Ghostbusters May Now Be Female-Led Reboot
Sony is now targeting Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, The Heat) to direct its upcoming Ghostbusters film. The Hollywood reporter has the scoop which also notes the film is now envisioned as a reboot focusing on female Ghostbusters.
