Ideas for integrating fantasy football into Madden
EA Sports is currently looking for some ideas of different ways that their fantasy football setup could be integrated into Madden. This is a great opportunity to help shape the future of how the their fantasy football can take advantage of what Madden has to offer.
Personally a few things off the top of my head that I'd like to see are some sort of fantasy football achievements, the ability to play online with your fantasy teams (without having to go through the current lengthy process of...
Eli Manning Madden 09 cover rumor
Following the Super Bowl I wrote an article about how Eli Manning had propelled himself into consideration for the cover of Madden 09. Being that it was just a couple hours after the game ended that was just pure speculation on my part. However now there is buzz going around that not only is he at the top of the list, but that he is actually in negotiation and appears to be EA's top choice for 09.
The problem with this is the basis of the rumor comes from a random forum post on an obscure M...
How should companies judge a game’s success?
The interview held with Peter Moore has sparked some good discussion and the reaction has been interesting to follow. One of the more frequently commented upon topics is Moore's use of Metacritic as a major basis for considering Madden 08 to be an excellent game. While in some ways it may have been, everyone would agree that there is a lot of room for improvement in the series.
That got me to thinking. I'm of the belief that Metacritic is not the best method for determining how good a gam...
Madden 08 (final) roster update #8 details
The last roster update for Madden 08 is set to release sometime early today for the 360 and PS3. This update removes all players from the IR and somewhat surprisingly does include transactions made plus ratings and weapons changes. The Super Bowl was obviously taken into account with the Giants receiving a bunch of significant upgrades.
In a year that EA has been highly criticized one area where they excelled was with the roster updates. Going into 08 the goal was to do them on a weekly o...
