Yesterday the man in charge of the Madden 10 player ratings Donny Moore tweeted that this year the philosophy is results on the field will be what determines ratings changes with no excuses. It doesn't matter who the player is, if they aren't producing or if they are outdoing expectations they'll see their ratings move. With this in mind here are some potential changes to look for this week.

Madden 10 Patch #1 Issues Update

After the release of the first patch for Madden 10 it was discovered that a few problems had come out of it. I've received numerous emails regarding some specific oddities being seen however have yet to see anything along those lines myself. The main issue that was immediately noticeable was the changing of numbers located on the back of a couple team's helmets to blank squares.

Madden 10 Roster Update #4 Details

After taking a week off the Madden 10 roster updates have returned with the fourth of the year which came out this morning. This update includes a slight upgrade for Darrelle Revis to 93, a 10 point upgrade to 85 for Antwan Odom, a five point decrease for Jake Delhomme, an11 point increase for Mario Manningham while Drew Brees has become a 99. Madden 10 AFL DLC Now Available

The AFL downloadable content for Madden 10 is now available on the Xbox 360 and PS3. As posted on previously the DLC includes AFL Legacy jerseys, five new achievements/trophies, and five new Madden Moments in addition to the optional special retro-style presentation of the Legacy games. The DLC pack goes for 560 MS points or the equivalent $7 on the PS3 side.

The first patch for Madden 10 has now gone live for both the 360 and PS3. Details on what this patch addresses are below. A second patch taking even more community feedback into consideration is currently in the works.

The roster update for Madden 10 may have been skipped last week but assurances have been made that there will be one out this week. Along with the first patch which is expected within the next few days and the AFL downloadable content coming on Thursday it will be an eventful week for Madden.

There will be no Madden 10 roster update this week according to Donny Moore. The message left in the rosters and ratings forum below announced this earlier today.
We don't like to react prematurely to performance issues so we don't plan to update the rosters this week. We will be back next week with a comprehensive update that includes key performance changes as well as any major depth chart adjustments.
