It was another entertaining night with EA Sports MMA and the online Fight Cards feature. There were several really impressive fights that went back and forth and some dramatic finishes. EA Sports MMA Fight Card #2
Last week the 'Friday Night Fights' kicked off and turned out to be a big success. Fight Cards in EA Sports MMA were ran for 2 1/2 hours with five total being completed. Just one week after the release of EA Sports MMA there are analysts predicting that the company will cease making an MMA game going forward. Sales are reportedly soft and with THQ locking up the UFC license through 2018 the thought is being perpetuated that there is no room to grow and pushing forward would prove futile. Fight Night 10/22 Recap
The first Friday Night Fights with EA Sports MMA turned out to be a big success. The Fight Cards feature is so much fun when a group of people get together as was the case last night. We ended up going for two and a half hours (I believe five total cards) and it was really enjoyable even in just watching the other fights. EA Sports MMA has some of the best online features of any sports game to date and has excellent online performance to go along with that. The Fight Cards feature in EA Sports MMA is one of the most impressive online features in any sports game to date. Allowing for up to 10 people to take part through five fights (one at each weight class) the card progresses with all the users involved spectating as it goes from one fight to the next. Continuing with the series of Xbox 360 hard drive installation evaluations I've gone through and compared several areas of EA Sports MMA based on loading times from the disk vs the hard drive. EA Sports MMA now joins the NCAA Football series as the biggest culprits of poor loading times in the sports genre.
