EA Sports UFC 2 is undeniably a stronger product than the companyā€™s first two efforts at the sport of MMA that released in 2010 and 2014. From the Knockout Physics System and KO Mode to new controls for transitions and the introduction of Ultimate Team thereā€™s a lot there to be evaluated. While much of what has been done is positive thereā€™s also submissions proving to be a non-factor and a disappointing Career Mode to consider. How does the product stand on its own, and could this b...

When the first EA Sports UFC went outĀ the game was missing a large number of relevant fighters and over the course of eight months many of them were added through patches. Now found in EA Sports UFC 2 are Sage Northcutt andĀ Jessica Aguilar. NorthcuttĀ has been placed in the lightweight division d...

The first big sports game release of 2016 is here with EA Sports UFC 2. The sequel has improved on the deficiencies of the first, providing a much more satisfying gameplay experience and deep roster, but the modes of play come up a little short. Career Mode is a disappointment and the new spin on Ultimate Team isn't very compelling. The new KO Mode is a winner however, even though it isn't playable online. Ultimately what it comes down to is the game this time around better respects the s...

With EA Sports UFC 2 out now with the trial through EA Access, areas of the game that were unreachable in last month's beta can now be played. One of those is the new KO Mode, which offers up the appeal of staying on the feet and brawling for a finish. What it also provides is an opportunity to see a wide variety of knockouts with the new physics in place. KO Mode is simply a blast to play around with, and I've put together a video showcasing some of the most vicious knockouts seen so far...
