    Please enable Javascript to watch this video EA Sports has made a big deal out of FIFA 17 moving to the Frostbite engine, with supposed benefits to gameplay and the ability to create things like the new story mode. However, despite being playable at EA Play last week, gameplay footage has been difficult to find as any recording was apparently restricted at the event.     EA Sports today announced a brand new cinematic-style story experience for FIFA 17. Given that EA began hiring for positions that included a "Narrative Designer" back in 2015 the news doesn't come as a surprise but is very significant as it represents the first time in eight years that the company will be introducing a substantial new way to play in the FIFA series.     EA Play and E3 are right around the corner, with the big EA press briefing taking place on Sunday, but the company has pushed out the first news on FIFA 17 in advance of the event.     EA Sports has released a fifth post-release update to FIFA 16 on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, 360, and PC.     The third EA Sports game to have originally released in 2015 has reached the Vault in EA Access. Madden NFL 16 was added in February and NHL 16 in March, and now FIFA 16 joins it and all other games from the publisher to have come out earlier this generation. EA Access is currently exclusive to Xbox One with Sony declining to offer the service on PS4.     Springtime is now not only about the release of the first wave in sports games every year but also the prime period to be a subscriber to the EA Access service on Xbox One.
