    Already out on PC, and coming to PS4 and Xbox One soon, is the third post-release patch for FIFA 16. Earlier updates for the game have addressed various issues and made changes based on community feedback.     Another post-release patch is on the way for FIFA 16 on PS4 and Xbox One. It follows the first which addressed some issues that had been identified along with changes made based on community feedback. The new patch is already out on PC and is expected in the very near future for the consoles.     There have been some good deals on FIFA 16 in the weeks following its release but the best offer yet has now arrived. The game is on sale today for $40 on all platforms (Xbox One, PlayStation 4, 360, PS3, PC). The deal is only valid through the end of the day and could expire even earlier should supply be exhausted.     While the big deals won't come around until Black Friday in late November, there are already a few opportunities to grab games that are only a matter of weeks old at considerable discounts.     Four years ago there was an epidemic of account thievery related to the FIFA series and its Ultimate Team mode. Many described it at the time as "hackings" but really it was social engineering and a major failure in EA's customer service where inexperienced reps transferred accounts without properly verifying ownership.     The latest edition of the biggest selling video game franchise in the world releases this week. FIFA 16 is facing a strong challenge from Pro Evolution Soccer 2016, making it the only sport that features true competition in the genre.     FIFA 16 is out now to download as a timed trial with EA Access on Xbox One. Subscribers to the service will get 10 hours of playtime after which it will expire. The timer is ticking down whenever the game is loaded regardless of whether it is being played, menus are being navigated through, or if there is any activity taking place at all.
