One might think a demo for a new FIFA release would hold little relevance. The series turns in the biggest selling game in the world every year now. However in the poll posted last week to gauge response to the FIFA 15 demo over 4K votes rolled in and the results paint a picture of a franchise that could grow even beyond the remarkable standing it already holds by appealing to potential new consumers while still holding strongly on to returning ones. EA is doing this by improving across the ...

After an unexplained delay in getting out for PS4 the FIFA 15 demo is now available on all platforms. It released Monday night on Xbox One, Tuesday for 360/PS3/PC, and Wednesday on PS4. It features eight clubs with matches set to four minute halves and some pre-set squads to use in feeling out Ultimate Team. The FIFA 15 demo has left the strongest impression on me since the UFC 2009 demo. So much was seen and felt, in such a condensed period of time, that the game shined in a way that isn...

EA Sports has revealed the top 50 rated players in FIFA 15. The list is predictably led by global cover athlete Lionel Messi, and he's followed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Arjen Robben. Only five players in the world come in ranked 90+ with Messi out in front at 93 overall. (more…)...
  • Gameplay Videos Out of Gamescom

A number of off-screen videos have emerged from Gamescom for NBA 2K15, NHL 15, FIFA 15, and PES 2015. It's bizarre that companies allow such unflattering footage like these videos present to become what for many is the first impression of how the games look and play, when they could put out a high quality polished video under their own control that highlights improvements. However it hasn't seemed to do any harm in the past considering this is the nature in which NBA 2K's first gameplay has ...

That didn't change at the press conference but some other news was made. There will be a demo for NHL 15 and that is set to release on Tuesd...

Improved aspects include "closer control and more realistic player movement, new ball physics and crunching physical challenges". The latest Press Row Hangout broadcast live on Friday night and tackled early impressions of Madden NFL 15, FIFA 15, and NHL 15 coming out of an event held by EA Sports and all the videos and information that have released to this point. They've been broken into segments dedicated to each game with the NHL portion somewhat short as the talk ended up spinning-off more towards how EA's marketing strategy appears to have shifted this year across their portfolio of sports titles. Clips featuri...
