    EA Sports got the cover announcement for FIFA 18 out of the way before EA Play/E3 by naming Cristiano Ronaldo for his first ever appearance on the series.     The final EA Sports game from 2016 has now reached the Vault in the EA Access subscription service. FIFA 17 was added today making it available in full to all subscribers through EA Access on Xbox One and Origin Access for PC. EA Access is currently exclusive to Xbox One with Sony declining to offer the service on PS4 despite its remarkable value.     EA Sports has announced the official date for FIFA 17's addition to the Vault through the EA Access and Origin Access subscription services. The company states that the game will make it in on April 21. With that date in mind new Vault titles have consistently gone in a day prior to their official declarations so look for it on the afternoon of Thursday the 20th.     Another patch went out for FIFA 17 earlier today. It's the fourth significant update for the game post-release, affecting primarily Ultimate Team but also addressing one gameplay issue. The patch did not add in the new MLS teams Atlanta and Minnesota and EA Sports has yet to comment on whether they'll make it to FIFA 17 at all.     Besides another NBA Live cancellation and other news on the upcoming fiscal year, Electronic Arts yesterday revealed that FIFA 17 outsold every other video game in 2016 worldwide.     A new patch has gone out for FIFA 17 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It's the third post-release update for the game and primarily impacts gameplay with one critical adjustment having been made along with multiple changes delivered to Ultimate Team.     A second patch has just gone out for FIFA 17 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. While the first update to the game delivered a number of gameplay and presentation improvements, this one isn't as substantial, though it does attempt to fix some minor issues and adds in several new languages for the story mode.   (more…)...

    The PS4 Pro is just days away from release and two of the biggest sports games will be ready to take advantage of its capabilities at launch.
