    An update released today for NHL 16 has added in a number of new team jerseys. Most notably are those that were used in the Winter Classic game on January 1, and the Stadium Series games which are coming up later this month in Minneapolis and Denver.     While several other recently released games have been available at a discount the first significant deal for NHL 16 has been offered up today by Amazon. The game is available for $40 on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 as well as "Legacy Edition" on 360 and PS3.     While the big deals won't come around until Black Friday in late November, there are already a few opportunities to grab games that are only a matter of weeks old at considerable discounts.     When EA Sports first stated that the new 3-on-3 rules for overtime would not be included for launch of NHL 16, many fans were understandably disappointed. The rules were not suddenly sprung on the company out of nowhere - they should have been planning ahead for that scenario to take place - and the company didn't even seem to think it was all that important by saying only that it was something they "would look at" for a post-release update.     NHL 16 is out now to download as a timed trial with EA Access on Xbox One. Subscribers to the service will get 10 hours of playtime after which it will expire. The timer is ticking down whenever the game is loaded regardless of whether it is being played, menus are being navigated through, or if there is any activity taking place at all.     The EA Sports Hockey League beta for NHL 16 that had been scheduled to end has been extended until Monday morning. Feedback to the beta has already been applied in the form of a gameplay tuner, and the extra few days will allow for more evaluation of the mode in general but also the changes that have now been made.
