Fox Picks Up New Girl for Full Season
Last year the first full season pickup and renewal came from Fox who was pleased enough with the ratings for the comedy Raising Hope to extend their commitment. Amazon Adds Fox to Streaming Service
For those frustrated by Netflix's recent actions one of the competing services is Amazon who offers streaming to Prime members. The company has announced that they have signed a deal with FOX to add a wide selection of movies and TV shows. That will add to the service which already has CBS, NBC, Sony, and Warner Bros. Netflix Splitting DVD and Streaming Services Into Two Seperate Companies
Netflix today announced that they will be completely separating their DVD rental and streaming services into two different companies. The Netflix name will stay with the streaming side while a new company to be known as Qwikster will handle the DVDs. The 2011 Emmy Awards were notable for a number of surprises.
