Has EA took everything but the 9 and 0 out of these peoples numeric part of keyboard or what, this is getting redundant every review is a 9.0

i think Fred from Sports Gamers review seems to be the most in depth. If everyone is giving 9.0's then it looks like they are mailing it in.

The reasons Fred's is more indepth, is because he actually has an understanding for the game of football, and knows the problems the community has had with the game, and what he has had with the game, so he can look for bugs easier than say an ign reviewer.

Pretty good review..But w/o even playing it and knowing that online is lacking I can't see how madden can get anything above a 7.5 or 8...I mean think about this...What does online weather, leagues, franchise and overall smooth online play mean to you???..Is it only worth 1pt???

I'm sure the game is gonna be great and I'm sure there have been beautiful improvements but we are in next gen and its time that EA resolves the online issues and starts wowing us...We need leagues and NFL Style presentation to include weather and all the little subtleties that further immerse us into the game.

I'm happy about the evolution of gameplay tho.

love the comments about get more then 14 point lead qb turns into ryan leaf and watch for superhuman plays in games the computer decides it wants to win

Well thats why I dont like giving games scores. Although online is a huge part to me, it would be tough to give the game anything lower than an 8.5 - It really has improved gameplay and offers a ton of depth with Franchise and Superstar. So if you're saying Madden should come in around a 7.5 or 8 then All-Pro Football should've come in with like a 5. It would be a travesty if Madden didn't get at the very least 1 point higher than all the APF scores and it should be much more.

I have APF and its more of a latte coaster than anything else...I put it in once or twice, created a team and have had no desire to play it...Why did I buy it anyway???

That and the fact that I actually like some of the things they do with their games...I also had to have some money that was burning a hole in my pocket?

I'm the last dude on earth who wants to play with made up make believe teams...Maybe I'll get board with Madden or NCAA and really give the game a better look but from the time I put the game in to the hour later that I finished playing it 2 weeks ago I've had ZERO desire to play that game.
