I've already pre-ordered the GameStop Exclusive Limited Edition and I can't wait until I've fully downloaded the demo. Hopefully the game isn't a let-down!

Nice, I'll probably let this download overnight. A demo will be good for this one for me because with Halo and COD4 I don't know if I'd have got another shooter, so this will help with that.

I downloaded it last night, so I'll be able to play once I get home from work. I've been reading alot of positive feedback to the demo, so far. Can't wait to check it out.

I downloaded it this morning and just finished playing it. It's awesome. The graphics are fantastic and it seems really open to how you can play the game. It does not go very deep into the game, but it does give a good indication on how it will play and it plays awesomely.

Wow...just finished playing the demo and all I can say is, wow. The whole game is basically open, you can interact with virtually anything you find in the game like toilets, sinks, etc.

btw, it's being reported that Toys R Us broke the street date and started selling the game today. I'll check that out tomorrow. hopefully, it's true.

Broken Street dates never seem to amaze me, you would think after so many years of dealing with Street Dates, they would be able to stop this stuff, especially this early, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to send this game out to your retailors like a week in advance.

Its amazing how completely realized the BioShock world is. Reminiscent of HL2 and Doom 3.

I just got a big paycheck (by my standards) this week so it's not going to hurt so bad when I get my copy next week. :) I'm just afraid this game is going to be really short and leave me wanting more and feeling like I should've just rented it. Hopefully my fear is wrong.

yeah, this is not your typical FPS. reminds me alot of Condemed and F.E.A.R. in regards to creating atmosphere.

I'm not worried. replayabilty should be very high, seeing that no two encounters are the same. I will be taking my time, though.

looks like 2K isn't releasing the game early because of Toys R Us braking the street date. Next Tuesday for me, I guess. :(

For those worried about the length of the game, the review mentions it's about 20 hrs. Not bad for a FPS.

you have to understand that while we only have the demo to check out, the reviews are based on the full game. As good as the demo is, the game will be 100x better.

Bates, it's so much more than a FPS. Games like Condemed and Deus Ex would be comparable. Even people with little or no interest with typical FPS will probably enjoy this game.

I know. I didn't really like the demo since it was holding your hand the whole time through, I hate when they do that. But I can tell the full game was gonna be a lot better.

Condemed is one of my favorite games, also, It's under-rated and over-looked, but creates a great atmosphere (very Se7en) and is an excellent gaming experience. i truly believe that BioShock will surpass it.

Game is badass, it was weird at first cuz it was way different than i remember cuz i was baked when i played the demo. Still a badass game though, its like you're in the middle of a movie.

I had to force myself to quit playing after two hours... it's the type of game where you can't find a spot to stop... very creepy.. very engrossing... I'm playing with headphones, and the sound design is insane... I quit five minutes ago and my heart is still beating fast... I really agree with what I have read in several reviews... it's not one thing the game does exceptionally well, it's the sum of its parts... It's one of the most engrossing games I can remember... Max Payne comes to mind... the first couple of Call of Duty games maybe... but this game is next to impossible to stop.. I only quit because my girlfriend pointed out that I hadn't stopped in two hours...

I know what you mean Tim. I just past the crazy doctor and killed my first Big Daddy. The hospital area is pretty crazy...lol. I played about 2 hours and didn't realize it. Very engrossing, to say the least. I'm playing on medium and it's pretty damn hard. as good as the demo is, it really doesn't do the full game justice.

apparently its worth it to save the first little sister instead of harvesting it. If you do you are rewarded with a "hypnotize big daddy" placid. This will fool a big daddy into treating you like a little sister

I think so. It's in a garden looking area. He appears after you fight the psyco surgeon guy. That facker is fast and strong. He must have killed about 5 times.

Can't wait to get home to play some more.

Yeah Deus Legend said something about it in a message he sent me, just wondering if anybody else has experienced problems. I just got my 360 back a few days ago, and i'm not not taking a chance of downloading the demo.

So I just finished beating this game for the second time (Did not save all the little sisters the first time). To say I loved this game would be an understatement. From the wicked good audio tapes lying around to the intelligent A.I this game was everything it was hyped up to be. The only negative thing is that the experience is now over... sigh. Anywho I just signed up for Gamefly and I'm looking for another game to fill that void any suggestions would be great!
